◾A huge number of sets in the game are useless.
◾Enemies in areas like craglorn don't do enough damage.
◾The old trials don't have Trifecta achievements.
◾It's impossible to activate more than 4 bonuses constellations in the champion system which reduces progression.
◾Ranking rewards are insufficient currently, the top 3 should have better rewards.
◾Having a character stuck on CP160 stuff is very annoying. The stuff should reach CP 3600, having a stuff increase every CP250 would be a good compromise.
◾The races should have ultimate skills.
◾Change Cyrodiil : One Locked Campagn and One No CP,put back the elder scroll bonuses in PvE, this will make all players fight to have cyrodiil and by removing maps you will put all the power of the server on two campaigns
◾Add perfected sets versions in old trials.
◾Add more inventory space.
◾Add more bank Space.
◾Give Rolis Hlaalu the means to sell us space for our houses in exchange for writ vouchers.

"One Tamriel" brought down the blockades between player levels. Why would you need a v2 of that?

Those changes were part of the same patch. But One Tamriel still refers to the removal of level restrictions.

A huge number of sets in the game are useless.
So? You don't have to use everything. All games have items which go out of use eventually.

Enemies in areas like craglorn don't do enough damage.
We already have a huge thread about Overland Content balance and it lead nowhere. 3 years worth of discussion. Nothing.

It's impossible to activate more than 4 bonuses constellations in the champion system which reduces progression.
While this sucks out the excitement out of the system, if we were able to use more perks at the same time, the power creed would be even worse than it already is. So, definitely a no.

Hell, I am already equipping lvl 1 weapon and dropping all perks when doing overland story content.

Having a character stuck on CP160 stuff is very annoying. The stuff should reach CP 3600, having a stuff increase every CP250 would be a good compromise.
Again, power creep. Plus, it would ruin the idea of One Tamriel. CP 3600 players wouldn't want to team up with CP 160 players. Vice-versa too. Imagine if some guy one was shotting everything in dungeon and you would just run after him picking up loot. Oh, wait... no need to imagine. This is already happening.

    Change Cyrodiil
People have been asking for Cyrodiil changes since beta. Are we better than we were back then? I wouldn't say so.

I think topics such as these are way too broad for a simple (imo misleading) yes/no poll.

Rearranged the quote a bit, the bullet points at the top I have no desire to see them implemented, the gear cap, is one of the better features of this game, more MMO's should have it instead of the endless gear treadmill of out levelling all the old gear and needing to farm everything again every update.

The bullet points at the bottom I agree with for the most part, would like to get more of the green tree become passive or at the very least combine the gathering speed increase with the increased chance of getting more mats so that they take up one slot in stead of two.

I'm not opposed to a major overhaul of things like set bonuses and older zones/quests/stories, but I am opposed to most of OP's specific suggestions. In particular, I like the current level cap on gear and most of the CP slot limitations (although I do wish that the non-combat green CP stars weren't slottable).

No to almost everything on your list.

◾A huge number of sets in the game are useless.

    - Useless or not optimal? I'm running a necro who only uses soul magic, guardian, ulsifs, with Oblivion Foe, oaken, resto staff and War Maiden and happily soloing world bosses. Tae heck with the meta.

◾Enemies in areas like craglorn don't do enough damage.

    - I'd love to see a vet mode for delves when doing the daily repeatable delve quests for a better motif chance, but they've made the end bosses of quests hard enough to not be a pushover since High Isle. Making basic overland mobs harder would just turn the game into a slog.

◾The old trials don't have Trifecta achievements.

    - Who cares, they're all easy asf
    - anyway.

◾It's impossible to activate more than 4 bonuses constellations in the champion system which reduces progression.

    - We don't need more power creep. We don't need more grind.

◾Ranking rewards are insufficient currently, the top 3 should have better rewards.

    - Ranking rewards in general is the only thing you've said i agree with. They could all do with a bit of improvement.

◾Having a character stuck on CP160 stuff is very annoying. The stuff should reach CP 3600, having a stuff increase every CP250 would be a good compromise.

    - Again, we don't need more power creep or grind. This is an odd line for you when you're saying over lands to easy. Do you want the rest of the game tk be easy too?

◾The races should have ultimate skills.

    - Racial passives are already a point of contention. As it stands, you really can be any race, any class, any role, and the passives make no noticeable difference. Racial ultimate would deffo make a best in slot race. No thanks.

◾Change Cyrodiil : One Locked Campagn and One No CP,put back the elder scroll bonuses in PvE, this will make all players fight to have cyrodiil and by removing maps you will put all the power of the server on two campaigns

    - The loss of Ravenwatch was a sad day for many of us. We don't need more merging.

◾Add perfected sets versions in old trials.

    - More grind? More power creep?

    ◾Add more inventory space.
    ◾Add more bank Space.

    - Stop hoarding rubbish.

◾Give Rolis Hlaalu the means to sell us space for our houses in exchange for writ vouchers.

    - He does. Chests. Stop hoarding rubbish.

Instead of raising the gear cap id rather have some sort of gear augmentation system in which you can give your gear a final tune nothing significant but just a slight edge. But not increasing the gear cap hell no xD

Gear cap raise? Not a huge fan

But the game definitely needs a big shakeup and overhaul, can't disagree there. Something like Cataclysm but for ESO
You have discovered the thirty-seventh Sermon of Vivec, which is a bending of the light, long past the chronicles of the Hortator who wore inconstant faces and ruled however they would, until apocalypse.

I like the idea of a 'base game overhaul' but not most of the specific concepts offered by the OP would be horrible. Raising the gear gap would do nothing, as players will just have to regrind/reconstruct their gear just to get back to where they were and thanks to how scaling works, basically nothing would have changed except draining resources for no reason.
Or if you want numbers to change, then congrats, this is how you get powercrept worse than we already are.

    1. they hurt a lot for overland content, so no. The Gargoyle's hurt if you don't have self-healing.
    2. If they add further achievements, I want to see Aetherian Archive not require 12 people to past the floating rocks. That stops all progress because no one runs this trial. Then, I would agree for a trifecta with a worthy reward worth my time.
    3. No, this is not a great idea. This will cause issues because ZOS have not separated patch notes between PVP and PVE.
    4. This game was not originally designed for PVP and ZOS has yet to make PVP applicable in PVE (because its not). So when another thread is posted about "this set is OP in PVP," it damages PVE. For this reason, I am against this idea and want to see PVP fully separated from PVE with its own patches to its mode.
    5. They can do this and it might encourage players to run these trials more. What are the chances that this further drives players away because Craglorn are the first trials you would theoretically due to get your feet wet?

Does the game need some major overhauls? Oh yea for sure. I would personally add tool tip redo, hybridization completion, PVP and PVE clearly defined and addressed properly to their respective modes.

Oh and I will say this, guards. Casting an ability gives you a bounty. This is dumb if I just saved the damn city.
Making a game fun should be a priority. Making a game balanced should not come at the expense of fun.

◾A huge number of sets in the game are useless.
Yep. No arguments from me. But it's not going to make them money so I don't see this happening in one fell swoop. The original purpose of OT was to draw in a much MUCH larger crowd. I don't think potential new players are going to hear about set reworks and think "And now's the time!"

◾Enemies in areas like craglorn don't do enough damage.
Again *I* agree. But probably more than half of the playerbase wouldn't. OT was all about doing away with this sort of thing.

◾The old trials don't have Trifecta achievements.
Sure. But to be fair they aren't exactly challenging content these days either.

◾It's impossible to activate more than 4 bonuses constellations in the champion system which reduces progression.
This is fine. Infinite vertical progression is meaningless anyway.

◾Ranking rewards are insufficient currently, the top 3 should have better rewards.
I defer this opinion to those that know better than me.

◾Having a character stuck on CP160 stuff is very annoying. The stuff should reach CP 3600, having a stuff increase every CP250 would be a good compromise.
Absolutely not. I'd delete my account immediately and never return. I'm not to here to chase infinite grinds. I'm here to play the endgame.

◾The races should have ultimate skills.
Sounds cool to me. But considering how much people already hate the idea of races I don't see this being too popular.

◾Change Cyrodiil : One Locked Campagn and One No CP,put back the elder scroll bonuses in PvE, this will make all players fight to have cyrodiil and by removing maps you will put all the power of the server on two campaigns
I'll do ya one better. Just have one campaign and dynamically open another as the first nears poplock. Make them share score.

◾Add perfected sets versions in old trials.
    Sure.

    ◾Add more inventory space.
    Doubtful for technical reasons.

    ◾Add more bank Space.
    Doubtful for technical reasons.

◾Give Rolis Hlaalu the means to sell us space for our houses in exchange for writ vouchers.
    Doubtful for technical reasons.

In closing, I don't see most of this as OT V2. One Tamriel was a massive game changer and likely helped save ESO. This list is more like a handful of rebalancing, maintenance, and QoL suggestions.

◾This is true for both PvE and PvP
◾Craglorn is fine. There are areas for casuals and for vets. ZOS should consider adding another Craglornesque zone like adventure zone *cough* Black *cough* March *cough* every other year with rewards worthy of the increased challenge.
◾Giving the old trials Trifecta achievements and associated rewards would be a good addition.
◾I agree that having only 4 slottable bonuses in the champion system isn't ideal. Although it would be up to the devs to determine if an increase is warranted. I personally think being able to slot at minimum 1 more bonus would be nice.
◾"Ranking rewards are insufficient currently, the top 3 should have better rewards." I'm not the type to go for ranking based rewards so I have nothing to say on this matter.
◾The focus in this game is primarily on horizontal progression, since we are not trying to regear for new content due to old gear not being sufficient. Adding new gear levels would directly nerf everyone so that the newest max gear would be what 160 gear was. Even with the stickerbook this would be the opposite of a quality of life change 💀
◾Race ultimates would be interesting considering there is a precident of race based powers in the single player game, but for the most part I think ZOS just wants race to just be about flavor than about min/maxing for the best build (play how you want). Race ultimates would be another thing that needs to be balanced so that every race is interesting across the board so I personally don't think we'll ever see that.
◾The Cyrodiil problem is multifaceted. When the NA servers were updated it played like a dream, but now performance is quite questionable even with the drop in the population cap, which just makes it more annoying to join an active campaign (hour long queues). I'm not sure reducing the number of Cyrodiil instances would solve the problem, but it could be interesting as a test to double the population cap and only have 3 Cyrodiil instances CP, noCP, and under 50. There are a lot of PvE only peeps that will not like Cyrodiil affecting PvE land. Consider a guild with peeps from different factions doing a trial. The Cyrodiil buffs from the scrolls wouldn't affect the entire group, which doesn't seem fair in any sense of the word. Especially with the competitive nature of scored runs. Do we really want to go back to peeps only playing with peeps in their own faction?
◾"Add perfected sets versions in old trials." This might incentivise playing old trials on vet although some of those old trial sets are technically perfected versions of sets found in the same trial. Either way sets need to be rebalanced in general.
◾"Add more inventory space." The game has been around for a hot minute. Just like with the occasional increase in character slots, an increase in bank and bag space would be nice. They could also add 4 more storage chests that are even bigger than the 60 slot ones.
    ◾Read above point.

    • Crafted Potions: Essence of Spell Critical (Bugloss, Lady's Smock, and Water Hyacinth). Without magelight this is my primary means of obtaining Major Prophecy on my Sorc, which increases my Spell Critical Rating. This also heals and restores magicka. Essence of Immovability (Columbine, Corn Flower, and Wormwood). I use this in PvP, since this gives me stealth detection, knockback immunity, and restores magicka (better to use it when competent allies are nearby, since it might reveal that you are surrounded by multiple players in stealth and you will not have an emergency pot available after use). Essence of Invisibility with only 2 ingredients (Blue Entoloma, Namira's Rot, Nirnroot, or Spider Egg). I use this in PvE content that requires stealth and if I need more speed I'll use Rapid Maneuver before using the potion. Essence of Invisibility with 3 ingredients (Blessed Thistle, Blue Entoloma, and Namira's Rot). Very useful in PvP alongside the vampire Dark Stalker passive, since you'll be invisible, ignore movement speed penalty while in Crouch, and you'll have a 30% movement speed boost from Major Expedition (I always have this slotted when riding from point A to B in PvP land, since gankers are always lurking). My templar will mostly use Essence of Health (Tri-Stat Potion) Ingredients: (Mountain Flower, Columbine, and Bugloss).

just no to all of this lol

i was actually expecting a "one tamriel v2" to actually mean "fully update the game engine" or something along those lines to fix a lot of the underlying problems with the game lol

I'd love to see some of the older zones get love. As of now which this is more of an mmo thing, there's no reason to go to older zones other than the alliance capitols. Antiquties and scribing was a step in the right direction but maybe some kind of new events. Hopefully the new rewards system on the PTS will give something similar in that we have a reason to go to old zones

I disagree with literally everything OP posted. All sets in the game have a purpose, and when comined in a way that compliments each other can be very good and strong. Just because there are groups of people telling you you can only use 10-15 sets in the game for content because they are popular, doesn't mean that the other 600 sets are useless, outdated, or have no purpose. The game is heavily set on choice, so even in completely crafted sets, you can complete all content and achievements because your skill and ability to play the game matter more. There's also not one single "right" way to play and be successful. ;)

Another thing is, gear cap at 160 and not increasing that allows for more horizontal progression, and keeps all content in the game relevant. Unlike games like WoW where only the latest stuff is able to be used competetively because the older content gets outleveled every update.

All the other things can be explained by things the devs already said in prior replies to reqests. Again, you may see things in other mmos that were fun, but aren't things you want in ESO because it doesn't work with the game's design at all and would be a huge determemt.

    ◾Add more bank Space.

    Yes, I think so.

◾A huge number of sets in the game are useless.

More precisely say, too many "similar function" gear in the ESO.
    My playing time Mon-Friday UTC13:00-16:00 [PC-NA] CP over2000 now.

Agree. I suspect that many of them never even see any use. Many are only "noob traps" that increase power gap.

The sets really don't have any real meaning in the lore, except a tacked-on name. They feel like "build-science" props and have no currency in the fantasy/story at all.
◾Enemies in areas like craglorn don't do enough damage.
I don't think that they will have the luxury of changing this unless they can address the HUGE power difference in the player base. And some of the community can be very resistant to changes concerning the power gap.

I personally think it would be fun if overland mobs were more consequential- something like a base-game overland boss (but with less hp)- not something that's testing you to the very limits, just something you might die from if you don't pay attention.

But Craglorn overland wasn't fun. That's not the way.
◾The old trials don't have Trifecta achievements.
I guess for consistency it could be good? And for checklist/progression stuff. But for me its not super important, either.
◾It's impossible to activate more than 4 bonuses constellations in the champion system which reduces progression.
I agree. The great breadth of horizontal progression is pretty much reached by respec after a low threshold. Beyond that point, the cp system gives you absolutely no more progression, vertical nor horizontal. That's not ideal, and it could use some work. Its not a deal-breaker for me, though.
◾Having a character stuck on CP160 stuff is very annoying. The stuff should reach CP 3600, having a stuff increase every CP250 would be a good compromise.
I agree with what others are saying in this thread. If they were inclined to change things, I'd argue that they made the whole level-material system more cohesive. Currently we have whole tiers of materials (sub-level 50) that are so transient they are practically pointless. I think its even interesting to ask why we need 2 separate levelling systems (levels/cp) at this point.
◾The races should have ultimate skills.
Like in Skyrim? I'd be down for that.
    ◾Add more inventory space.
    ◾Add more bank Space.
◾Give Rolis Hlaalu the means to sell us space for our houses in exchange for writ vouchers.

I can see why they don't do this- server demands- and its not a deal-breaker for me. I'd love more furnishing storage containers- barrels and cupboards, etc. But its whatever.

While I disagree strongly with most of the points, what this game absoultely needs is a complete overhaul of vanilla zones. Graphics, gameplay, world-design. Overland needs the increase in difficulty, too. People can whine all the like that they don't want to put effort while playing, but it's hard content that inspires replayability.

I'm on board with this part. When I look at Necrom, Gonfalon Bay and Leyawiin, I see what Mournhold, Wayrest and the Cyro cities should have been.

No, don't touch the pure perfection the over world is so far. Just add content that is creative, engaging and challenging.

I wouldn't mind seeing some added side quests. NPCs we have helped before saying hey I have another problem. Most the stuff in the opening post I don't think is needed and some like higher armor levels to me would be bad for the game. Since everything levels with the player anyway it would be higher numbers for the sake of higher numbers.
and then the parrot said, "must be the water mines green too."

No, because I don't agree on several of the points listed whereas some I would like/prefer are not in the list.

Generally, the definition of a scope to be "upgraded" would probably be the most difficult part, because not one player has the same wishes like another. To achieve a compromise scope matching for a majority could require some time... :D
