Transmute crystal overflow

So, after almost fully quiting pve like a year ago and never been the guy to play pvp, i hoarded a 1000 transmute crystals by now. Even tho i have 9 other characters, i never play them and wouldnt even know what sets to build for them.

On my main i have all sets i need too.

What other options are there to not just destroy the crystals? What do you do with them?

Transmute crystals functionality should be expanded upon. They should let players transform these crystals into whatever they want. If they want Heartwood sure. Furnishing? Maybe.

On the topic. I either make a new set for one of my alts or just create a Maelstrom Bow and store it for further set reconstruction.

Transmute crystals effectively replace trait elements in a weapon that is already crafted. Therefore, imho, it would be ideal, and least broken, if we could do some sort of direct transmute to gilding wax or to potent nirn at a similar cost of 25 crystals when all stickers of a set are collected.

with the prices beeing so low i dont know if its worth to sell them now tho. i have so many expensive items in my bank which dropped drastically in price tho, i dont want to sell them atm but need some gold soon.

yeah thats a good idea but for sure nothing they will ever add.

i kind of am in the same boat, sitting at 1000 transmutes, with about 30 pieces of recreated gear i dont really need anymore (30x25 = 750 more transmutes in "storage")

if i start getting a lot of geodes ill usually burn them into nirncrux, the gear i just hang on to since at least i can make use of that instead of decon right away

ive personally always been in favor of just changing the eso+ bonus from "double transmute storage" to "uncapped transmute storage" so we can actually just let it pile up if we dont need it

I would love uncapped transmute capacity, some of my PvP alts have 50 or more of them in their inventory now. I don’t need them now, but I have completed many campaigns and I earned all of those.

Can do what a lot of others do: Find a 25 transmute cost item to reconstruct, make a bucket load and place them in the bank, a storage chest or a mule. Then you'll have room for more crystals, and reconstructed items you can decon to get your crystals back if you need them.

Personally I never reach the cap since I constantly use them ;_;

ah shoot transmute the item and not reconstruct lol. what a bummer ^^ wasted a potent nirncrux and 15 transmute crystals jeez xD

Yeah I've got 100+ of these 50 rocks taking up space on different characters. Unfortunately, there are only a few meta sets out of the 650+ currently in the game, and I've got multiple sets of those golded out... so nothing really to do with all the crystals. And I'm not going to play nirncrux roulette with them in a depressed market, either.

Make some cool stuff available for purchase with crystals, ZOS! Mounts, polymorphs, exclusive tradable style pages and whatnot. Or at least raise the cap to 10,000, 100,000 or something. You guys raised the cap once, so you recognize that this storage problem is real.

Just ignore them. Leave the 1000 there in case you do need them.
It's not like they're taking up 5 storage slots.
