Third Time Same Problem

This is the third time this has happened to me in as many months. You need engineered solutions, AI solutions wont save you. I cant access traders, chat or whisper people or access the guild bank. Same issue as when I sent multiple auto kick addon mails last month at this time. Your systems are broken. Your ticket # is: 240930-000075

There's nothing "broken", you're simply social banned.

Nope, if you send too many mails when removing inactives from a guild their heuristics will false positive.

Now after removing inactives I can't recruit again because zone ads and whispers don't work. The only emergence you will get from AI is emergent problems.

Yeah, that's what happens when your addon spams people with messages - a social ban. You've been (falsely) identified as a bot and the system blocked you. Don't use that addon or don't kick as many people in a short period of time to prevent this.

This is definitely not an AI problem because I got hit with the same thing 8 years ago. Stop using the addon that is sending out mass player mail and you should be fine.

Sadly with trading guilds sometimes this is an inevitability, unless you have like an entire day every week to dedicate to this task doing it slowly, one by one, manually.

Looks to me as if the AI is doing the job right, if it's suppressing this kind of farming.

Every time I get guild spam mail I wish I could block whomever sent it to me but it's against their rules lol.

In the add-on, for absolutely any action, you can set absolutely any delay.

Which addon do you use for this?

Will give it a look, I don't really like 'working' under the specter of the social ban every other week.

I don't use such addons. I responded as an author. There's absolutely no problem in implementing any delays, including random delays between actions, because there's the function zo_callLater, which literally every addon uses.

My only comment (since I can’t offer any help resolving the issue) is to say that most of the times when I was removed from a guild I was not notified by email. It’s certainly more polite than just getting booted without notice, but it definitely isn’t required to send emails to the players you boot from your guild.
I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!

This doesn't sound like an AI issue at all, but simply being rate limited.

The same way you can get kicked out of the game by using addons which'll spam actions. My addon which sells junk when I open a shop will cause me to get kicked for spamming if I have an entire inventory worth of junk items.

That's not an AI thing. Stop using add-ons to spam the game lol

Any idea where I would find the rate limit? I'd rather not risk a collision with random delayed calls.

Hard to say what the actual limit would be, best would be to try figure out when it happens for you and check how many messages you sent, within what time frame.

& Then adjusting the speed you do it, so if you're getting it after doing 20 message in 5 seconds, then try doing it at half the speed

One mail lower than the social ban trigger.

Seriously, they barely acknowledge that there is a social ban, they ain't gonna tell us what the limits are before they hand one out. :disappointed:

There's also likely no solid answer too this at the same time. You could get rate limited due to a small delay on your client, rather than actually sending them way too quickly.

It'd be better for ZOS to have a better queue system than to give us such information.

(Client -> Server) too many requests will cause you to rate limit and your client is going to be sending a lot more to the server than just what you're sending using an addon as well.

    I'll try change line 559 in autokick.lua to -

    em:RegisterForUpdate("AKprocessing", 16000, function()

for 16000 ms rather than 1600 ms between kicks

This is the usual problem with ZOS' guild administration tools being horrifically bad and outdated. It'd be really helpful if at some time, someone would take this feedback (that has been given time and again for almost a decade) and do something about it.
