I'll trade you your 300 ping for my 750-999, how's that. I live in the US, and my only available connection (other than, yeah, dial up....) is satellite.
Try pvp on satellite sometime. Good thing I don't pvp....

I’m writing this as a desperate plea from Australia. The state of the servers right now makes the game nearly impossible to enjoy. I’m stuck with 300+ ping on a good day, and the experience is a complete mess. I get it—Australia is far, but with the current setup, we’re lagging so far behind that it’s a joke.
This isn’t just me either. There’s a whole community of players down here who want to keep playing, but it’s getting harder to justify sticking around when the lag ruins every dungeon, every BG and Cyrodil. Right now, it’s like we’re playing with a handicap. You have a loyal Aussie player base that’s just asking for the bare minimum so we can enjoy the game on somewhat equal footing.

You don't have access to Elon's Starlink satellite or a wireless option like T-mobile's 5G home internet?

When ESO went to Stadia is when they moved everything from client side to server side. (Back around Greymoor 4 years ago.) Ever since then there's always been desync, but it's gotten progressively worse year after year. Stadia has been dead and buried since January of 2023, but the calculations were never moved back to client side for the anti cheat reasons, I guess. I wish they would swap them back as the servers clearly can't handle the load.

A-U-S-T-R-A-L-I-A. Please read the original post. Its great that as an American you can get low ping on both NA and EU, but this was not directed towards you.
N-O
I'm saying it's odd that I can get amazing performances on both NA and EU which I shouldn't be able to on the EU server as someone who lives in the USA which makes me think and believe it's an internet problem like do you all in A-U-S-T-R-A-L-I-A get 10 gig speeds?

I played on a High Performance Starlink unit in ball group and completed trifectas. Starlink works great for this game personally. There would be super brief moments of ping spike but nothing that bad.
Biggest thing I can suggest is make sure it is some where that doesn't have obstructions and get it up higher if possible.

Starlink is not available here. See my earlier reply to Twohothardware.

Sorry, I must have missed that part. They are opening up new cities literally every week. Keep checking. My area wasn't on the list of places it was available but I was able to place an order and it said there was service. Maybe I just caught it at a weird point before they got the graphic updated but their backend was updated. But yeah, keep checking. It's much better than hughesnet

No. Neither is available in my very out of the way "back of beyond". I even had to cancel the "sort of free" first few months of Starlink on the new Forester when we bought it, because it kept trying to connect and throwing error messages all over the stupid media panel. The "best" connection I have available is HughesNet satellite.

It's a VERY small market here. Vanishingly small - less than 200 full time residents. It's a very nice back of beyond, but it's got to be pretty far down on Starlink's "get 'em connected" list.
HughesNet is so much better than Wildblue was, I really even hate to complain though!

it's not odd at all, australia is physically further to the US than Colorado is to Germany, which means you are literally supposed to get better ping on EU server than aussies get on NA or EU server. All this is bethesda's decision to not cater to the australian market
