City of Ash 1 quest does not advance if someone runs ahead

... And you know that someone if not always, then often, does rush these like crazy.

So we've found that if one of the newbies is not fast enough to actually take part in combat, their "Defeat Warden of the Shrine to Clear the South Front" stage does not trigger, and the quest does not advance past that.

    Interesting.
I would like to know why ZOS preferred to reward rushers by extending the "joining encounter" to all dungeons with the upcoming patch, even those usually done by newbees. In this way, it has penalized a lot those who have recently started playing.
However, I volunteer to accompany anyone who wants to go without running in any dungeon. Contact me in game, same name as the forum, PC EU.
@ZOS_Kevin There is a need for a strong initiative to protect those who do not want to run, to complete quests, to read books, to loot chests and hs... It is very important, let's not underestimate this important category of players

No kidding. There are even a few dungeons where there's a major delay after the last boss kill and before you can turn the quest in (and in some cases, you even need to figure out where to go first, like DS1), so if the group is disbanded immediately, you might not even have enough time to turn in.

The dungeon story mode is most certainly way beyond required by now.
