Is it Possible to Solo Vet DLC Dungeons?

Vet Non-DLC dungeons can mostly all be solo'd, but what about Vet DLC dungeons? Alot of mechanics and AOE exist that can melt players, but is there a way to get past this? Spam shields or healing perhaps? Maybe wear 3 H, 2 M, and 2 L or vice versa?

My high elf puncturing sweeps templar is currently wearing depths 5 light body with deadly, velothi, slimecraw med, and maelstrom inferno. The 5 light allows me to use Annulment/Dampen Magic for an extra shield.

My question is what else can I do to survive mechanics that normally wipe players? Is Ring of the Pale Order the answer or is it different armor that allows me to tank damage?

I have been able to do solo arenas, but vet dungeons are harder to get groups for. I want to be able to get the gear.
Making a game fun should be a priority. Making a game balanced should not come at the expense of fun.

A few of them I would say yes, not too much of a problem. But I think the DLC dungeons often have a lot of 1 shots that you need to figure out how to manage solo.

Like, Ruins would be impossible. That final fight is barely doable solo on normal due to the statues. White gold would be doable, but the pinion boss is going to be a slog. Falkreath and Bloodroot I'd throw in the unlikely category without some sort of low dps tank build that can soak up damage but make the fights take ages.

All of the DLC dungeons can be soloed on normal though. So far, the only one that remotely causes trouble is the final fight in Ruins and the Dranos fight in Cradle (but this can be cheesed with precog).

White Gold Tower maybe, but solo'ing vet dlc dungeons seems like a bad idea.
it will take so much longer even if you succeed

You can solo a majority of the Vet DLC dungeons, including some with 1-shot mechanics, although you may have to cheese/leverage some exploit-y type things to do so.

For example, you can solo Fang Lair vet, despite there being two bosses that require a teammate to save you. For the Tiger boss, you stand in a very specific spot that disables targeting enemies/enemies targeting you every 30 sec or so when the mechanic fires. For the Ghost boss, you can use Precognition to break the chain mechanic.

Other vet DLC dungeons have ways of getting around mechanics, but there are definitely a decent amount that you simply cannot get through without another person interrupting/interacting with a mechanic.

this, a lot of ways to get past the lockdown mechanics is using precognition (psijic ult morph), this works on virtually every lockdown mechanic in the dungeons with the exception of malubreth in wayrest 2

newer dlc dungeons especially on HM have huge amounts of incoming dmg, or even health scaled dots, in which case you need a full healer for those, like i dont know if you could even do the first boss on bal sunnar solo with the manipulate dot

@jaws343 I was thinking the same thing about Bloodroot. I don't know how you could overcome the rune cage without someone interrupting on the trio before Earthgore Amalgam. Caillofiofe would also be long and boring.

Falkreath's only real issue would be Cernunnnon's heavy attack with the overlapping mechanics and the Deathlord with the cleanse mechanic. Might actually be an advantage with Domihaus compared to organizing a pug to not use up all the pillars.

I would add Graven Deep with the sundered mechanic, the orb drop, the shades, the boss' cleave attack, and then the colossus and the boss at the end would be a nightmare. I don't know how you could solo that without it taking an eternity with a cheese tank

ive actually made decent on the cradle of shadows without precog

this is one lockdown mechanic that can actually hit companions, though they will usually die from it

i was farming cradle some last week to get last few gear drops, and i went in as a dps with tank companion and go through dranos with the companion eating the lockdowns, if the companion died i just made sure to rez immediately while he was doing some other mechanic
