Spawn rate for platinum went way up recently

I don't know if anyone else noticed or not, but platinum is spawning at the ore nodes at about the same rate that rubedite is. There is a lot more platinum ore in game now than there used to be.

I thought it felt that way today while I running all over creation after treasure chest maps. Seems like every time I got near where I expected an ore node to be, it was plat instead. Works for me!
Edited to add: AND all but about 4 of the 20 chests I looted today had leads in them. I'll do the other 20 tomorrow, and then I know what I'll be doing for a week....Edited by TaSheen on September 17, 2024 9:53PM______________________________________________________

✭✭✭When I see that it is because the area has bots. They take the ore but don’t take jewelry nodes because they don’t have Summerset dlc to refine it, I guess.

Is that so? The unrefined jewelry ore is still a good bargain. I hadn't thought of it that way. But I have noticed that nodes are a lot less picked now than a few months ago. Which is nice for me since I love to run around picking.Context is for kings -Captain Gabriel Lorca1 -

✭✭The bots in bleakrock take jewellery nodes too. I'm guessing but i assume that their software looks for the interact trigger and then digs. It doesnt discriminate as you can send them off to their next node with a bear trap or meat sackSoupy twist1 -

DreamyLu✭✭✭✭✭It's like columbines and co. I don't believe it's because ethe drop rate has increased, but rather because a lot more players are farming resources for now, so that we see a lot more often higher tier resources. Typically, for same reason, we see a lot more psijic portals than usual.
