"Line of Sight Check" on Healing Skills - Seriously?

Hey there,

So, I guess we're all just loving the new "line of sight check" on healing skills. I mean, it's not like we already had enough issues with terrain being buggy and unpredictable, right? It’s definitely fun when I’m standing right in front of a friendly player, staring them in the eyes, and my healing skill just decides to nope out because—wait for it—the terrain thinks there's an invisible wall between us.

I'm sure the intention behind this was great, but could we maybe address the fact that it's causing more frustration than it's solving? Not to mention, healing in clutch moments is now basically a coin toss, depending on whether or not the game’s questionable terrain decides to cooperate.

Would love to see a fix, or at the very least, an acknowledgment that this “line of sight check” is, you know, making things worse.

Thanks!

I completely agree with this frustration. When you're in the middle of a heated battle, especially during clutch moments, having your healing skills fail because of an unpredictable or buggy terrain feels unfair. The "line of sight check" might have been intended to make healing more tactical, but if it’s blocking abilities in situations where you can clearly see your target, it’s doing more harm than good.

We play games for fun and to feel like we have control over our actions, so when the game mechanics themselves start to feel unreliable—like a heal not working even though you're right in front of a teammate—it takes away from that experience. It turns healing into a gamble, and in competitive or high-pressure situations, that’s a dealbreaker.

It’s totally understandable to ask for this to be fixed, or at the very least acknowledged by the developers. After all, as players, we want mechanics to enhance our gameplay, not frustrate us.

Happens to me a lot, should get someone to address this. If you are right next to someone but on a small hill or a single step you sometimes cant get the heal to hit because of LoS. Certain parts of the map are just messed up and it can cause people to die fairly often.
