Flurry and azureblight

Flurry in the dw line is considered a dot you can see this when attacking an enemy with it, but for some reason it doesn't proc blight stacks from azureblight. Anyone know why?

✭✭✭Yeah, from what I recall, this was a question in relation to jabs and other similar attacks. Fairly certain they are direct damage now0 -

✭✭✭✭✭So Flurry is considered direct damage for most things (including Azureblight), but does still count as a DoT in very specific circumstances (for example, it is buffed by Grave Lord's Sacrifice).3
