[Starting Zones] Do you agree with the proposed changes?

I open this poll to propose the following changes for the start of the game. I think these changes would satisfy all players alike:

After spending a long time making a decent layout, the forum has ruined everything . ¬¬

Still, I think it's legible.

This would be ideal but I think they never should have changed it. I hear people complaining all the time about being under leveled and we all know its because they didn't do the starting area. GG Shoddycast. I hope zenimax learned not to do knee jerk reactions to stuff like that in the future.

I think these changes would satisfy everyone. All players would be happy.

This one thinks that they should have left things as they were, with the addition of a magician on the island that could send one to the next area if they so desired. Of course those would arrive in the next area very unprepared for what they would face.. Would have been most amusing to watch them come limping back , tails dragging.

Given that you can smash through the prison very quickly, I feel its no real point trying to skip it. Yeah new zones are tedious so many times through, but easy enough to do

I understand what you are doing but spamming a player with a message nukes the immerision effect for a new player. The current system of allowing you to skip after 1 character has completed is fine.

However not being placed on the starter island is a bad idea. All new players should do the starting quest or otherwise the story is broken. The "skip" option that exists now, if selected, should take them to where they go now.

That way you have the best of both worlds... IDK why they didn't think of this sooner.

Well I think the best solution would have been to drop on the starting island to preserve the lore of the story and put an NPC not to far from the starting point giving you a quest that allows you to skip it.

Right now, it is just confusing as hell.

This has happened a few times : I'd be talking about the starting zones, mention the whole skip fiasco, and people assume I'm talking about the first prison area, Coldharbour, or wailing Prison it's sometimes referred to... People have no idea about the "other" starting zones.

As a side note, I have a suggestion for everyone who agrees skip option should be at starting zone. In game I believe you can /feedback

Well I am generally hacking into stuff but most intersting nonetheless...

We dont' have a general section for a reason: They want to organize feedback. Is that good for us? Hell no, but its good for them (ZeniMax).
