Khenarthi's sweet song and Cat's eye prism leads are not dropping

I've been running around Khenarthi's roost for a while picking up every node, chest, thieves trove, safebox, enemy and I can't seem to get either one to drop. This reminds me a bit about my time in Betnikh but for some reason I am thinking its bugged. I haven't really seen a lead drop even with my alt character when I did the quests again. The last time I received the leads was about a year ago. I don't know if anyone is having this issue or not but considering the average time it took me to get the leads for the Thrassian Stranglers to be about 15 to 30 minutes the drop rate for these are a bit baffling. Especially for Khenarthi's sweet song since Cat's eye prism is a bit harder to get being linked to enchanting nodes and psjic portals. I only got to loot 2 portals which were duds.

✭✭✭Only yesterday I got a lead for the Cat's Eye Prism from a rune node, so I can confirm that at least this lead is still dropping.
Said that I have found the drop rate of these leads - the ones that share category if you will, like the Mnemonic Star-Sphere or the Prismatic Sunbird Feather instance - to be woefully low.
I remember starting a thread about the latter some time ago because I too was led to doubt that it was dropping at all.

From what I've seen on wikis it can drop from a variety of sources and another discussion had players getting it from an enemy drop. If it was from chests though then I had at least 30 chests opened in that zone before I gave up and played something else for a bit.0 -

Well at the very least I now know that cat prism isn't bugged. But yeah I agree with you on the drop rate for some of these leads being way too low. Kind of tears the fun out of the game. I don't mind doing them as I listen to podcasts and the like but when you have something not drop for over an hour and not receiving a lead when re-visiting the zone on a fresh character, thinking the lead is bugged seems to be the obvious conclusion. The tutorial islands aren't zones you spend a ton of time in like in the main alliance zone areas so having these leads with very low drop rates doesn't make any sense.
Saying all this though I still don't know if the Khenarthi's sweet song is bugged. I literally spent about an hour or so specifically trying to get it.0 -

Heren✭✭✭Kenarthi's sweet song is heavy rng, but I do see the lead drop quite regularly when I tour the island for mudcrab chitin, and from various sources ( didn't do a tour since last update tho, in any case ).0 -

The chance to get certain leads was increased in some update after you got that achievement. And I think the Mnemonic Star-Sphere was one of the antiquities that got that boost.1 -
