Gold Road prior to Necrom - Consequences?

Out of curiosity: Has anyone finished Gold Road story before Necrom story? Was ist weird or fitting after all?

You can't.

You won't be able to finish the Gold Road story fully unless you've already finished the Necrom story, and you have to run both stories with the same character.

If you try to do Gold Road first, or don't do both stories with the same character, the final couple of Gold Road story quests won't unlock.

You also need to complete the Gold Road prologue.

I did it on two different alts so I had to redo Necrom to get the final quests.

The second time I did Necrom/Gold Road, I did only the zone quest line in Necrom, and then only the zone quest line in Gold Road, and the final quests unlocked. Never did the prologues on that alt.
