That CP grind tho

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to ask if the atrocious CP grind was still a thing. It killed the game for me personally as I want to be playing the high level trials.

I believe the cap is now 3600 (?) however, you can only allocate about 1700ish total. Obtaining CP is now not that hard, Ive had friends come back to the game and reach 1k fairly quickly. Its a good time to log in when events are up as they usually have xp bonuses. Xp scrolls are also constantly tossed at you.

You can max all passives and 12 slottables with less than 1500 CP. The only thing more CP gives you is the ability to have more than 12 slottables maxed so you can shift them around if you want. I have 2500 CP but have gotten no 'power gain' since about 1200 CP so if playing high level trials is your goal, as long as you are okay with one set of 12 slottables, you should be fine with just a moderate level of CP.

I’m at around 700 if I remember correctly. I know you can gain CP through all manner of things but I found myself at the time rounding up monsters and burning them which became rather boring. I obsessively did this because I couldn’t get to where I was going without the CP ☹️

It felt as though the CP was walling me out of being my strongest to attack the highest content.

If you haven't played since the CP 2.0 revamp, CP are accumulated much faster now, and the power difference between high and low CP is much smaller. The difference between ~800CP and higher is too minuscule to matter for almost everything.

If you have a Master Crafter that can do Master Writs then you can gain CP really fast during double XP events, especially if you have scrolls or pots active too.

Ofc Daily Random normal is good for that too!

I use dynamic cp addon,and the jack of all trades addon for green tree.After about 1300+ CP it's kinda a waste since there's limited stars slotttable at a time,maybe increase it to 6 or something make it worth ggrind a little more.
