Almalexia confiscating agents need an expiration date

It happens sometimes that a player can snatch Almalexia confiscating agents and a tanky agent at the same time. Since - apart from Psijic patron, if present, there is no safe way to kill off these agents, and even then, considering that psijic is quite expensive, you can end up in a situation where you have less and less cards in your hand, significantly reducing the possibility to even use psijic.

I think this is too powerfull and such an agent should vanish after let's say three turns freeing the confiscated cards automatically.

And: Psijic costs need to be reduced to 3g btw.

while you aren't guaranteed to get them, there are Treasury cards that let you knock out agents.
both cheaper than Celarus' patron ability.

    Ambush which costs 3 gold.
Knock Out—Place 2 of your opponent's active agents into their cooldown pile.

Black Sacrament which costs 2 gold.
Knock Out—Place 1 of your opponent's active agents into their cooldown pile.

and you can confiscate the opponent's agents too, if you get the right Almalexia cards.

    Too much ifs... :)

While the stolen cards remain stolen until agent is killed.

The huge flaw of ToT remains that the self-enforcing power generation is so extremely strong and which creates the sense of unfairness.

This is the built-in flaw of ToT. Two cards of one patron in your hand create due to mutual buffs such a power advantage ("power" used here in a more general sense, not in the sense of winning points, replace it by "gold", "power", "prestige" or "impact on your opponent").

So with every turn the player who owns the almalexia agend has an almalexia card in his had he can reduce the potential for his opponent while maintaining his own advantage while the opponent has the ADDITIONAL disadvantage to need to invest gold into something else to go back to the initial state that is before the confiscating of his cards. This means that the opponent playing against the almalexia has a double disadvantage with respect to the almalexia player.

If a player picks an agent-dependent deck, like Almalexia, Druid, and especially Pelin, you should always pick a counter. Rajhin, Celarus, and St. Alessia all contain the ability to wipe agents. I don't know if I've ever gone into a match without one of those patrons for that reason alone.

I also don't care what others think about Rajhin. Almalexia is as annoying as a Rajhin spammer if a player falls into the situation you described, so if someone picks Almalexia first, Rajhin is definitely my counter. Also, if you go first and pick St. Alessia, I've found it is a huge deterrent for Player 2 to pick an agent-heavy deck.

    This scenario always happens :

I have Almalaxia agent and another tanky taunt agent up, I have confiscated several cards(yay! right? WRONG!). When I am done and bought the final card and no more gold, 2G knock out card pops up. My opponent starts, buys the knock out card, knocks out my tank agent and another 2G knock out card pops up in its place, so they knock out my almalaxia agent too.

    All the bloody time!

Then opponent has tank agent and almalaxia agent up, snatched up several of my most powerful cards from CD. Next round, I got lots of gold but no power, no patron can knock out, so my option is to buy card and see if something pops, right? Wrong! All the cards are 9G cards! And even if I buy one, no knock out card pops and I am out of gold after buying another card that popped after I bought the 9G card.

    EVERY *** TIME!

This is why I stopped playing ToT. I have no intention to return, RNG on top of RNG on top of more RNG!
