I'm writing this because week has been pretty wild in bgs. I play in bgs quite often. And I have been noticing the endless amounts of skills going through walls or bending corners. It's normally crystal frags, mages wrath, various force pulses from a variety of players, and certain ults that seem to ignore the general idea of "breaking the line of sight". Today I am now noticing that Templar beam and the Bow ult are now staying attached to myself and others when going around trees, behind rocks/walls, and even when that player dies, the skills will still cast for the duration. The arcanist beam is also completely broken. They can stand at the top of the stairs in bgs way above the other players and spam their fatecarver and us players are at the bottom of the stairs with the beam at least 20+ feet over our heads where we can't even see that it's going off and yet... it still hits us for the full amount of damage. It's as if the beam from fatecarver isn't just straight out in front of the caster. It's like the beam has an unseen vertical aoe that ignores the different levels that you are below that player. It's completely broken.
I would also like to address the issue with sorc streak while I'm writing this. Lately with multiple sorcs streaking back to back to back to back, it ends up creating roughly a 10+ second perma stun from streak with no cooldown whatsoever. And it IS being abused by teams in solo que that have multiple sorcs on that team. And they know its broken and they keep doing it non stop. Not to mention overload spams are desyncing again after you have multiple sorcs spamming it on one player it ends up greying out your bars and you can't use skills or even barswap. You just have to die.
Northern storm animation is also not showing up. It is just hitting you head on and after death suddenly the giant aoe appears around the warden casting it. And I have confirmed this with other players on my team who said the same thing.
I am just curious if anyone else is noticing this at all. I normally try to play in bgs throughout the day and night and it's absolutely worse at night during primetime. I can only assume outside of the issues described above that the server ping randomly spiking from 62 up to 999 is also playing a part in these issues as well.
I doubt its my pc either. As I'm running a pretty decent custom built pc with a 4070ti Rog, an i7 13 gen, plenty of DDR5 ram, and a 2tb ssd with just eso on it separate from my other drives that store the os and other programs.
Again I am just looking to see if other players are noticing these issues as well. And if so hopefully it can get brought to the attention of those who can fix it.
