Blastbones doesn't proc Vicious Death.

Pets not proccing sets is already ridiculous, but not being able to proc an "on-kill" effect is even more ridiculous, considering you can proc Vicious Death even if a proc set lands the killing blow.

Because Blastbones counts as its own entity, killing someone with Blastbones doesn't proc Vicious Death. That's ridiculous, especially considering Blastbones is your main source of burst damage on a Necro.

Necro is such an iconic power class in other MMOs and Action RPGs. Not sure what happened here.

Yeah, it’s so weak and awkward to play here, to the point of being borderline hilarious. I log into my Necro every day to do writs, and once a month I take it out to Cyrodiil to get Tier 1. That’s it. I also abandon all Kill 20 Necromancer dailies I get, because they take an eternity to complete.

Not at all surprised that blastbones doesn’t proc Vicious Death. The only things necros are even remotely good at doing in Cyrodiil is bombing and revive botting, so making them less effective at one of those things seems about right. I’d be curious to see if blastbones also fails to proc other “on death” sets, like Vengeance Leech, or CP stars like Bloody Renewal.
