[bug?] Dragon's Appetite will not proc from Scribing Bleed damage DoTs

Hi folks!
As we know Dragon's Appetite can proc from Bleed DoTs(do not confuse with Bleed status effect) from abilities like Carve and Twin Slashes (yes, morph without Bleed status effect works too).
But Dragon's Appetite will not proc from Bleed damage DoT from scribing ability.
Is it works as intended?

Increase your damage done to Bleeding enemies by 225. Dealing non-Bleed damage to Bleeding enemies generates a persistent stack of Dragon's Appetite, up to once per half second. After 10 stacks you consume Dragon's Appetite and heal for 4415 Health. The heal effect scales off the higher of your Max Magicka or Stamina. Are you using NON-bleed damage to bleeding enemies? Don`t mean to question but it sounds like you need to place bleed DOT and then use non-bleed damage. Also is it worth it? That`s a 5 second stack and then you heal only to start over. Blooddrinker might be a better choose: 2 items: Adds 657 Critical Chance
3 items: Adds 129 Weapon and Spell Damage
4 items: Adds 657 Critical Chance
5 items: Increases your Bleed damaging attacks by 20%.
