Useless 3pc Sets

PudraSekeri
They have features that are not versatile. The ones for maximum resources may be used, but the sets with ranged direct damage and healt recovery are not worth using. They need to be changed to be useful in the current pve and pvp.

Actually the most used is probably Potentates. Otherwise I recently considered using the ranged direct damage crit set for PvP because I had a mythic and monster set. 3pc sets are still used.

Nibenay is better than potentates and master bows are better than other 3 piece ranged sets. Moreover, there is still a slot for trainee.

It's really tough to test Eagle Eye on console.

    Does it buff:

Alchemical Poisons, Damage Glyphs, Elemental/Crushing Weapon..? Status Effects? These are all essential to dealing ranged damage for many specs. Because of this it seems many ranged specs would be better off with the 1300 normal Crit with 3 pieces of a 5 piece set that have Crit on the 2 and 3 lines than Eagle Eye.

    What about Shalks and Blastbones?

In my opinion it should get a buff to the 2 piece - at least as much as Slimecraw.

First, they should all get the Trainee treatment. Each should have a 1-piece bonus, a 2-piece bonus, and a 3-piece bonus. I'll keep banging that drum until it's done.

If the skill doesn't get absorbed by defensive stance or Shimmering shield then generally it isn't ranged. Case in point - Imbue Weapon. Sticky effect also are not ranged. I haven't tested out some of the AoE ground effect ones like the Warden's beatles but I suspect they don't count.

Right I figured. Seems the set was made for Snipe Spam only, the rest of high damage Bow skills are DoTs!
