Fleeing from guards after crime / invisibility potions

I am running around Eldenwood throne hall and as there is just running, throwing in invisibility potions and trying to hide behind trees or dying is the only thing you can do I realized that despite the invisibility potion the guards really seem to know exactly where I am so they can throw their detection spell.

That is utter nonesense.

I also tried to run zick zack in order to make a sort of guessing where I am by extrapolating last visibile trajectory impossible but still they know where to throw the light.

Of course I know that the server always knows where I am.

But sorry, the guards should not be able to and I think how guards determine where to throw their light needs some adjusting.

You could try not getting caught stealing. Guards won't even bother you, then.

I carry around a supply of Essence of Immovability with me with 3 effects... Invis, Unstoppable, and Health/Health-Recovery.

Once a guard has aggro'd you, invis won't help while he/she has line of sight on you. So I duck around a corner to break line of sight and then pop the potion for best effect. If I can't break the line of sight, popping the potion will still make me immune to stuns/pulls/knockbacks/etc.. giving me more time and leeway to make my escape.

Though admittedly the potion is best used before a guard spots you after a witness starts screaming out to alert them.
