Modify Rhajin urgently needed

Some players just really TROLL. They spam rhajin and destroy the game of the other WITHOUT trying to actually reach 40 points or to win by patron win.

There is NOTHING one can do against this TROLLING except CONCEDING. And as a consequence the game trolls one by giving a time penalty.

I understand the logic behind Rhajin but if it allows other players to troll their opponent with the sole purpose of trolling them then there is something really wrong.

On any other circumstances ESO has a strict policy against trolling.

But here? Trolling is fine? Is even encouraged by this specific patron? Seriously?

Repeated Rhajin spams should come at an increasing cost for the spammer. Full stop

This. We can nerf it by modifying patron costs just like Orgnum (2-3-4 or even 1-3-5 instead of 3-3-3). Also same will be good for Alessia.

Opponent picking Rhajin or Orgnum means there's a good chance I'll just concede instantly. Opponent picking both means it's near certain I'll concede instantly. Ranking in this game is meaningless anyway, I stopped caring for it a long time ago, my sanity is worth more than those 500 rank points I somehow stand to lose.

But if I do decide to play out the game, I'll do everything in my power to make my opponent realize that those patrons do NOT provide fun gameplay. I won't spam the patron when it doesn't make sense, but when it does I will prioritize using it over anything else. Only one way people will learn...

Would be nice if Patrons like Rhajin and Orgnum had an accumulative increased cost if used multiple times in a row or multiple times/turn.

Another suggestion I think would be interesting to add is a mechanic that allows you to block the usage of a patron for X amount of turns (make it a neutral action card that goes straight back to the tavern after use). This mechanic would prevent both players from using said patron.

They could implement a cooldown counting down from last patron activation either generally or in favored position (to be discussed).

Each further activation of the patron within that cooldown increases its cost by 1g. As one cooldown expires the cost is decreased again by 1g until standard base cost applicable for current favor status.

The cooldown should be minimum two or three turns

Just got hit by one of these trolls who, when I asked why they didn't just finish the game when given the chance, responded in Spanish. After I translated my question into Spanish, they responded that they didn't understand Spanish.

So no, I did not concede. I played out every single crap hand that I had and then let the timer take over. Game must have lasted 30 minutes or so before they got tired and finally won.

I have yet to understand what exact fun that was for them...

I wonder why people act like that.
    Don't tank

It's really fun to beat a Rhajiin spammer with Rhajiin. Personal pleasure 😉

Rahjin is the only deck in the game that counters the RNG spam of crow, psijinc + druid, mora, etc etc etc. Can't nerf it until you nerf the actually-broken decks first.

I have not encountered very many people who do what you are describing. On the rare chance I have, I have won 100% of those games by simply playing the game while they spam. No matter how many bewilderments they give me, if I actually play the game and build a deck, I can overcome it. Psijic and red eagle are two really good decks to have in play with Rahjin.

I play Rahjin almost every game because this community is plagued with RNG farmers, and I GREATLY prefer gameplay of strategy and skill to pure dumb luck. I'll abandon that deck when the RNG spam decks actually get balanced.

You can concede after 10 minutes without getting any time penalty. And if you really feel the need to quit before 10 minutes, then no one had the time to successfully spam you to a point that leads you to feel trolled. Just concede after 10 minutes if you aren't enjoying the way you are losing, and the problem is solved. That's what I do with those boring slow matches with almalexia. Sometimes I even quit when I'm winning because I find it slow a boring. But I never assume that I'm being trolled, I just don't enjoy that deck, that's just it.

Mora is a perfect counter to Rhajin. If you're going second just pick Mora incase they pick Rhajin for the final patron. Mora gives you heaps of power plus plenty of opportunity to destroy cards.

I despise Orgnum deck. it's the only deck that an NPC can use to beat me (I've beaten NPC 100+ to zero several times). Once NPC uses it once, it spams it. The more you play the game as intended, the further you fall behind as it gets spammed.

Actually Orgnum is better for countering spam cause opponent gets a dilemma of spamming or using Orgnum patron, if they choose spamming then they are doomed. While Mora is kinda tavern dependent, and if opponent buys Tomeshell...

I agree wholeheartedly with this, but I would prefer if that is done only when playing against players. I do enjoy "trolling" NPCs
