The vamp is dead to me now

With the 100% reduced damage buff that was applied has made the vamp unplayable. I’ve already went to the mage guild to get cured on 2 vamp characters because the negative effects didn’t change. The negative effects should have been reworked as well. This is the worse update ever for vamps. Thanks

Yeah no one plays vamp now.

I did the same. PSA: Same your vamp build in one of your armory slots so that you won't even have to get a bite again if/when they rework vamp down the road.

One of the times I went to the mage guild in the rift there was another vamp getting cured just before me. Sad day for vamp characters.

You know you can use armory in your house and it cures you of vamp too. Can you save vamp skill in armory? Didn't know that. Maybe I can trade a bite with someone.

Good idea is on PC and uses dressing room but armory is way better for major changes like this dressing room only handles gear and bars.

If the only thing that you were using vampire for was Undeath then that is a pretty good confirmation that the passive was imbalanced and needed to go.

100% reduced damage buff? Where are you even getting that number?

Undeath was reduced from 30% at max to 15% at max. That's a 50% reduction in its effect.

It's also still very good. So many people are overreacting and saying it's worthless now, but that's still more than Minor Protection at 60% health, and more than Major Protection at 30% health. The negative effects did not need to be reduced, because now it's an actual choice you have to weigh the pros and cons of. If they reduced the negative effects, nothing would change and everyone would still be running vamp.

Old Undeath was absurdly powerful.

I just decided to try vamp for the first time and they nerf the *** out of it

Agreed with a previous commenter that now it requires a lot more though about whether vamp3 is worth it or not. Previous it was pretty much mandatory to use in PVP. So mission accomplished by the developer. That was their intention with the changes.
