Okay, I was totally wrong. Thanks @tomofhyrule for showing me where it was in the interface (group activity finder menu). Only one loading screen needed!

Original post in the spoiler below.
Is it some company policy to always have as many loading screens as possible?

So I want to check out someone else's home. Great idea! Let's go! I'm in Forsaken Stronghold and I want to see what everyone else has done with my home. Let's do it eh?

But first: You have to be in one of your homes, right? LOADING SCREEN. So my version of Forsaken Stronghold is now loaded.

Then I get to visit another version of my home created by someone else! I select it from the UI: LOADING SCREEN. Fine, two screens. Who cares? Quit complaining.

But wait... Now I want to see a different version... So I open the menu and there is nothing available. So I must now leave the house first. LOADING SCREEN.

Then I want to visit another house... but oopsie! Can't do it from the overworld. I have to go back to my own house. LOADING SCREEN.

Then from my house, i have to once again select a different version from the touring interface... *then* I can visit. LOADING SCREEN.

Have you been keeping score at home? That's a total of FIVE loading screens so I can preview two different houses.

Every time I want to leave a house I'm visiting and check out a different version, I have to pass through THREE loading screens every time.

Thankfully I have a very good rig on PC and they aren't that long. I can't imagine how horrible this must be for older gen players. Ugh.

Why can't I visit another version of the current house from that home's UI? This just seems so clunky and unintuitive to me.

Tamriel is rooms. Space (starfield) is a room. Endless rooms for the bethesda family of games. Wish they'd change.

... Are you using the new Home Tours? Because you really don't need that many loading screens.

If I want to visit someone's house, I can open the Home Tours menu from anywhere in the world (it's standard activity finder), and then go straight there. That cuts out one of your load screens.

Want to see a version of a house that you're in? Fine. I actually just did that in game - from my version of Forgemaster Falls, I just chose another Forgemaster from the menu and went straight there from my version. No need to leave my house to go to another. I also just selected to go to a third person's Forgemaster straight from the second, again with no need to leave to the overland first.

If you're not seeing anything available in the home tours menu, be sure you're selecting "Browse homes" instead of "Recommended," as there may not be any recommended homes with the search criteria you have selected.

Hmm... I'll have another look, I'm pretty sure I couldn't find anything.

You are indeed correct, and I am eating my words. *om nom nom*

Please forgive my blasphemy, almighty bethesda!
