Automatic desertion when accepting match while browsing vendor

So basically, I was in queue, was browsing writ voucher vendor when queue popped, I accepted the queue, match started and immediately I lost and found out I got 10 minute queue penalty for desertion. WTH? Why is ToT queue so messed up? We get automatic queue refusal if we are in crafting station, we get automatic queue refusal if we are teleporting, and now this! Why? Is this a punishment for playing this disaster of a card game?

I'm just copy/pasting my response from a similar thread:

I would place an in-game Feedback/Bug. Several months ago, I would file an event where being mid-air (example: jumping) dropped me from the ToT ready queue and gave me a loss and deserter penalty, if I remember correctly. It took a while for them to finally fix the issue and I'm sure others had similar issues.

There is no category specifically for ToT so you might need to just pick the closest one.

This game does not like doing actions during jumping. You can not even browse your mails if you open the window during mid air. So not sure if this is an easy thing to tackle for the developers.

It is best to do nothing while accepting the queue.

Regardless of what was fixed I now always make sure I fully stop if I'm running, close the crafting station/trader or banker widow before accepting the match. AND I stay still/do not interact with anything while waiting for the other player to accept/decline.
The latter is because I once got handed an automatic deserter penalty because I was foolish enough to click on the crafting daily board while waiting for the other player's response.

Pretty messed up situation man, why do the devs hate ToT players so much?

I just had this bug when I was standing still at a wayshrine in apocrypha*. A couple of minutes later the game booted me from the server. Classic.
