When did the dovah-fly start sounding like kotu gava?

Tell me I haven't been touched by the Mad Cat. I am sure my sapphire dovah-fly did not make those gross kotu gava sounds until recently. I HATE kotu gava and can't stand those sounds. Please make it go away!

✭✭✭✭✭I don't know how it was with normal dragonflies, but the CWC ones always made a faint whirring sound; it was different to the annoying kotu gava (interesting name, btw, I always wondered whether it's related to Turkish "kötü hava" which means "bad weather" but also "bad air", which certainly applies to swamps) noise, though.
Who knows, maybe ZOS will replace all kinds of unique sounds with more generic ones now (more server space!), and in the end, wolves will bark like dogs and the average silt strider will make the same sound as a mammoth
