Why the "Warlock's Veil" Should Be a Hat in ESO

Hey fellow adventurers,

I wanted to share my thoughts on the "Warlock's Veil" cosmetic in Elder Scrolls Online. As someone who loves customizing my character, I was thrilled to see this stunning piece. However, there's one thing that bothers me: it's classified as a Major Adornment, which means we can't dye it to match our outfits.

Here's why I think it should be reclassified as a hat instead:

Dye Options: Hats can be dyed in ESO, which allows for more creativity and personalization. The Warlock's Veil has a unique and striking design that would look amazing in different colors. Being able to dye it would let players incorporate it seamlessly into their favorite looks.

Versatility: As a Major Adornment, the Veil limits what we can pair it with. Making it a hat would provide more options for mixing and matching with other cosmetics and gear, giving us greater freedom to express our style.

Aesthetic Appeal: The Veil already has the grandeur and presence of a hat. It covers a significant portion of the head, making it more of a focal point than a typical adornment. Classifying it as a hat just makes sense given its design.

Player Feedback: Many players, like myself, have expressed a desire for more dyeable options. Reclassifying the Warlock's Veil as a hat would show that the developers are listening to the community and value our input.

Overall, I think reclassifying the Warlock's Veil as a hat would enhance the game experience for many players. It would allow us to use this beautiful cosmetic in a way that suits our individual styles, making our adventures in Tamriel even more immersive.

What do you all think? Would you like to see the Warlock's Veil become a dyeable hat? Let me know your thoughts!

Well, I don't like it/would never use it personally, so sure - make it a hat instead of a major adornment. Sometimes the choices made when they develop cosmetics don't make sense/aren't very flexible....

Yes make it as hat for dying customization.

And still I don't like it just because of bad work with testing on zos side. Again and again still issues with some cosmetics (like Eyevea Evoker's Flair FLOATING ABOVE HEAD on khajiits, just bad bad work).
This? EVEN ON THE pictures from UESP it is cleare visible how veil cliping the khajiiti head!

I tried it on my cats and clipping was visible on left and right side of head, on one side even more thatn on other side.
If they fixed it ok thanks for others, if the didn't fixed it? Why they don't testing anything on all conditions?
    Really sorry for my english

They should just let us dye major adornments and stop having them being dependent on your characters hair color/race.

Yes, this. Not switch what is what.
