So I had ESO on disc on my PS4.
I just bought a PS5 full digital. I tried to get the free PS5 upgrade version but since I don't have the PS4 version on my PS5, it won't allow me to get the free update
When I tried to transfer the game from PS4 to PS5, it told me I needed the disc to play the game (which I don't have a disc drive on my PS5). Every screen for the PS5 is asking me to pay for the game - anywhere from $6 (base game) to $60 for Gold Road (which I already paid for)
What do I need to do to play this game again on my PS5???
I went to https://help.elderscrollsonline.com/#en/answer/52205 but you need to have the PS4 version already on the PS5 to get the upgrade. I also went to https://www.elderscrollsonline.com/en-us/news/post/59775 but it didnt give me any new info

✭✭you need a digital version, I bought the cheapiest of cheap versions that were available so that I didn't have to use a disc even though I have the PS5 with a drive as it uses the disc as the licence check if you bought the disc version. As long as you are using the same playstation account it will pick up the licence for all the dlc etc you have boughtSoupy twist1
