No thanks only additions I want to the current fast travel system at the moment, is for them to place some Wayshrines next to the dolmens they insist on putting on islands that you have to swim out to hoping there isn't someone finishing the dolmen while your still in the water. That or some boats that take you from the shore to the islands for a more immersive option.

Old and busted: Open map; find Deshaan (or one of the other zones if preferred); find the appropriate wayshrine; click on that; click on the option in the dialog box asking if I really intended to travel; watch animation.
The new hotness: open chat window; type /ft de5 (for Deshaan wayshrine #5: Mournhold), press enter; click on the option in the dialog box asking if I really intended to travel; watch animation.
BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE!
This could be shortened even more by adding a command to go straight to the fast travel option in the chat box by pressing a key, like ">", and perhaps adding on a modifier like Y for "yes" to skip the dialog box. Then it'd be: press >; enter "de5 y"; watch animation.
BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE!
What if I picked up the West Weald "Mosaic Incursion" daily quest previously, and want to go there instead. What I really need to do is go to any wayshrine in West Weald, just to get into the zone and find out which mosaic is active. So let's add a wildcard.
>; enter "ww? Y";¹ watch animation
¹or type "ww* Y"
BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE!
What if I have the Beam Me Up addon? I might want to use that for the money saving, right?
>; enter "bmu ww? Y"; watch animation (or get no results, womp womp)

If you buy now, you can own a house. That's right; a whole house, and you can fast travel to that house. Now you could learn the 3-character code for that house and fast travel there. For instance, let's call "Flaming Nix Deluxe Garret" FND. (or perhaps have a nickname or nick-code² for it, and be able to use that?)
Anyway, then one could press >, enter "fnd y"; watch animation.
² This would, of course, have to be something that can't conflict with the game's 3-character codes. So perhaps four characters, like msm1 (my Stay Moist 1) or something.
Anyway, I believe this would be a convenient addition to the travel options. Thank you for your consideration, and as always, stay moist, my friends.

Same as the apartment in Vulkhel Guard. But if this is just for Mages Guild quests, Deshaan is the best. Don't have to go in the tree like Grahtwood or buy an expensive home like in Stormhaven

The other inn rooms put you outside the door for your apartment, but inside the inn. Elsweyr does not. So it’s one less loading screen.

Sugarbowl Suite is usually my go-to as well, because you can literally see the wayshrine right there. It's friggin great! I use it for most of my day to day stuff. And all the amenities you could possibly need well laid out right there, a straight shot to any of them.
However I'd be remiss if I didn't also give some credit to the Cyrodilic Jungle House in Malabal Tor at the Baandari Trading Post. It too has an external entrance right by a wayshrine. And with it literally right next door to Black Vine Villa (which I intentionally don't purchase), it's incredibly useful for doing my Survey Report runs. I keep it tee'd up in the map and can choose either house with one clicky depending on whether I want to refresh the survey spot with a preview because i have a stack of them, or want a wayshrine to the next zone I'm headed to.
Do you need the Imperial upgrade to buy that house? I don't know.... I've never looked at it. Not my sort of thing. I thought the only one you needed the Imperial upgrade for was Strident Springs?

I have multiple accounts. When I need a wayshrine for a character who doesn't have it, I figure out who does have it (it's mostly for Coldharbour - because it's rare in my experience that BMU members are there) and pop a second instance of the game for the other account just so whoever needs a port can get one.

Oi.. I forgot that to buy it with Gold (70k) you need the imperial upgrade. Otherwise it's available via crowns. The Imperial Upgrade is cheaper than the crown cost of the house fwiw.
