Why do we hear glass breaking in Battlegrounds now?

What's that screeching sound of breaking glass that we hear constantly now in Battlegrounds and what does it mean? I still haven't been able to relate it to anything specific. Can we mute that sound or lower its volume? It's way louder than everything else.

Yeah, that sound effect needs to be dialed WAY back!

I readjusted my sound volume balance to try minimize it. It’s probably also OP, but that doesn’t bother me nearly as much. As far as gameplay goes, I’d much rather OP damage than losing control of my character as in the way Dark Convergence worked — that set made me stop most PvP for a while.

Tool tip on ESOHUB might be outdated or not showing scaling.

That's when the doors don't open or mobs don't appear in the dungeon and you wait for a new wave for 2 minutes after killing or when you come on a mission, but at the point of the mission nothing happens until the restart, it's a real problem, but not this.

Slightly reducing the volume of sound effects makes it even more noticeable, I also tried to equalize the sound but messes up everything else. I'd prefer to completely delete the file related to that sound effect if possible, since it's not at all needed and it's too loud compared to everything else.

Sites like eso-hub show the base damage without considering weapon/spell damage and the primary resource because those will vary player to player.

I got on my tank and ran many many people through Bedlam Veil during the recent weeks. Queuing just for that dungeon was instant on my tank and I did it several times a day for a while. Popular place, bad water there, don't stand in it.

Really? I reduced sound effect from 70 to 50 and thought it seemed a bit less grating. 🤔 But if you find a way to delete the sound file (and meteoric mount summons while we’re at it), do let us know!

The glass breaking sounds during the Mirrormoor incursions aren’t as loud as this misapplied set sound effect! There’s another set or ability that is too loud too, but it’s more of a woosh sound, like many casting abilities, just noticeably louder, but I don’t know what it is as I never see anything on my death recap that correlates. This latter isn’t a bad sound, just too loud for something that can be cast repeatedly.
