Would it make sense to make AP currency actually useable for something?

One thing would do. Just one. Its useless from the day I start playing PvP in this game. For example, make APs convertible to other currencies. Dont care of what absurd amount to change to other currencies, just make it useable. For example, to us PvP players, 1:1000 to get Transmutation crystals. Or 1:2000. Or 1:5000- I dont care. Just anything to do with them. My 56 million APs are uselessly waiting to be spend for something which counts in this game to move on and play. Give us PvP players an incetive to play PvP. Or something.

Would that make any sense for QOL?

There are already ways to convert AP to Gold, buy the various AP only items and sell them to other players.

It’s useful for buying siege and monster set pieces from the Go.den vendor.

It can also be used to buy both Akaviri motif pages and I believe Militant Ordinator pages as well.

There are a few new PvP monster set pieces that I have not purchased yet.

There are other things like furnishing items but those may only appeal to some players.

If you're complaining about having nothing to do with it, and have been playing for long enough to get 56 mil, why didn't you ride the Bruma shopping wave during Deadly Arcanist season and convert it to gold?

Spending APs for the things you mentioned -thats a tiny amount of APs compared on how much and average PvP player can amass them.
I already have all the monster sets bought.
I already have all the golden vendor set pieces bought.
I already have all the Akaviri motif pages bought, but im not into fashion anyway. I m not into housing, and even if I would be, I would bought everything with amount of stale APs.

I still have 56 mio. something APs being useless and amassing even more with every play session.

I still see a reason to have APs being actually useable to what we like to do - play PVP in this game. Currently, APs are none into that, but merely cosmetics and other useless things, considering the usefull meaning of the currency was already implemented and spend.
If that would make sense. For example - you farm transmutation crystals beacuse you still get new sets and still try them. For PvE and PvP, especially for PvP. Thats PvE currency. It will always have a use beacuse of usefull design. APs dont have usefull design. Its stale. You cant spend em at some point anymore. You get rewarded with useless currency spending time in PvP. You do get rewarded with usefull currencies spending time in PvE. Which can be used in PvP. You dont get use from them from PvP to spend it in PvE.

Its imbalance. It doesnt add up. Its stale.

Very theoretically and very roughly (maybe more, maybe less), you could buy 18k crowns for your 56m AP.

We've been asking for years for actually valuable things like mounts, polymorphs, and houses to be made available exclusively with Alliance Points. But no, ZOS feels that no drop style pages for outfits that nobody actually wears and face markings that nobody uses are the best things we are allowed to have. I mean, I've got over 200 million AP wasting away in the bank, simply because I don't want to be one of thousands of players selling Dawn Prisms, Deadly Strike daggers, and jewelry from the Golden in bad traits that is now worthless as you can buy a blue piece and reconstruct it as gold in your preferred trait for a lot less.

Sure it will. The opening post said they didn't care what the exchange rate would be. Even in a buyers market there is gold to be made. The AP is just sitting there doing nothing so any amount of gold would be good according to the opening post.

Yeah, I used to sell the occasional Militant Ordinator motifs, but because of the high cost, they were low turnover items that often took the full 30 days to sell. With the market crash and the big ticket items being returned early in 14 days, I wasn't selling any of the motifs, and ZOS wanted me to start paying more to list them. So I quit buying them.

Right, and how much AP did they waste playing the gear box lottery until they got it to drop? Most Deadly Strike pieces are off-traited, aren't even worth selling, and get deconstructed.

Next double xp event buy Dawn Prism at 25k AP each, 56mill would buy you 2240 of them..

People do Master Wrrits during doublle xp events, jewelry Master Writs using Dawn Prism give the highest voucher return for those writs, so the Prism's sell well!

Atm 10k ish on PC-NA and 7k ish on PC-EU, even at 7k that would give a return of 15mill gold.

I would therefore argue your AP is not useless, Dawn Prism's are not the best ratio of return but in my experience, even atm they always sell!!

Change alliance potions to only able to use with Battle Spirit active and give us Alliance Tri-Stat Potions.

Sorry I somehow missed the part about how much AP you had. I assumed you were a new PvP player.

I would love other things like mounts to buy, but I still have quite a few items in my sticker book that I have yet to obtain and I am being cautious about what I spend my AP on to make it last.

Pvp has been dead for a long time, it was even born dead, so it's useless.
