There are lots of nice guides for Mayhem.
As an appendix:
-Take invis pots
-If in doubt -block
-Slot race against time -and block
-Look for a clump of people, identify the healer, and plant yourself next to the healer when going through doors
-Look for a clump of people anywhere else and stay away. They're going to explode and kill you.
-Health min 34k
-If you see someone under 27k health, they have high rank, they are alone, and appear to be dying they are baiting you. Do not chase them down a hill.
-Ride from keep to keep with other people.
-If you are on EP or AD people will say in zone what to do and have pve player groups.
If you are on AD, a lot of players will be pvers. 20 of them will die to 6 people.
If you are on EP, a lot of players will be tanks. They will live, but they cannot kill anything.
If you are on DC, you are in the home of lone wolves that clump together to start fights. Sometimes these will be on a random hill in a corner. Do not play DC if you like logic.
If you are on DC, ignore what people say in zone. Press map. Go to camps. Go to where there are swords. Go to lit keeps.
-All factions: there are people who yell 16 hours a day and have done so for the last ten years. Use the ignore button and life is nice.
--If you are lazy, slot oils and pour it on people.
-If you are lazy, take a 40k arcanist.
-If you are a woman, or older, know that on my faction at least, there are plenty of women and plenty of older people. This has no effect on skill.
-If you crash, hard crash the game at once. Get any leader to kick you. If there are still issues getting back in log into EU then back to NA.
-Stay at a keep until you get the ap tick after a fight. It will reset if you get in a fight at a new keep.
-Healers do resurrect in pvp -Healers do not siege in pvp -Healers are positioned on the sides of the group, not where the main damage will go. Dead healers are not good healers.
-Not resurrecting someone in your faction, taking their siege or causing them to explode due to your very low health is poor etiquette.
-Pvp guilds have discords -if you want to play with a group again, join it. Hearing instructions matters.
-Siege is bad. Siege often is invisible. The game often does not register siege for 3 sections so you are a dead person walking. Look up when near buildings.
-Don't send angry hate to people who kill you instantly. The game often takes 3 seconds to register damage. They are not cheating.
-The double mounts do extra damage to the passenger if you're knocked off/take fall damage.
