Wow, a boat! I wonder if you sink it in the sand, it can look like a wrecked boat that was once finished and just ended up in a bad place?

That was my first thought as well! And.... cheap at twice the price! Thanks you two!

A quick play around....... the issue with sinking in sand/water is the wooden struts the boat is standing on.

But it is eminently possible to hide them......

It could look really good with a bit more time invested! :)

I was thinking of using it as part of a boat yard with some of the other boats. Having one or a few under construction and/or repair would add a certain authenticity.

That was my first thought too.

I don't think I have anywhere suitable for a boat yard, but I've got other works 'in progress' like a desk with papers and a quill pen scattered across it, and a pile of factotum pieces next to a blacksmithing station, to look like armour in need of repair. I could definitely see a similar thing working for a house with a boat yard.

Moonsugar Meadow has a lot of beaches/waterside areas, Hundings Palace has a nice beach, Earthtear Cavern could make a stunning semi underground boatyard!

Forgemaster Falls could work too, the more I think the more locations pop into my mind. 🙂

Oh also I experimented a bit more with the semi sunken boat idea, I really hoped I could use the new sawdust pile, logging as piles of sand but where I tried it was either too light or too dark to match the existing ground. 😕

Velothi Harbour house too. Could literally theme around the harbour it's overlooking.

Love that boat in progress. It's also nice to have a week with less expensive items. Always hate when everything is 25k to 100k. Personally I wish they'd even it out and have only a few pricy items along with a handful of inexpensive ones each week.

I got the boat as a warning sign for the left pier of my strongholds habour. Makes for a nice addition to the little isle separating the passages. :) Extra fitting since the water is more shallow on this site of the isle. (BTW, can we please increase the slot limit of 'Forgemaster's Falls' to 700 so it fits the size of this player home, please?)
