A random conversation came up last night in my guild's officer chat and it got me wondering about this, especially since apparently there is conflicting information online. GMs and officers given certain permissions can add account names to a guild blacklist, which prevents that account from being invited to join the guild or being able to apply to the guild via Guild Finder. If the account is already in the guild, it will automatically kick them from the guild and prevent them from rejoining.
This is primarily used to keep certain types of players out of the guild, such as people who have demonstrated toxic/behavioral issues, Crown scammers, guild bank robbers, etc. Sadly, that can be a larger number of bad apples than you'd think, especially on console where it is very easy to make multiple accounts without needing to repurchase the game so you often find yourself blacklisting a negative entity and then their alt accounts if they try to circumvent the blacklist to get back in.
Our question is - is there a limit on how many accounts can be blacklisted? My guild is at 292 even though someone said they found info online stating a limit of 100 and somewhere else stating a limit of 200. I haven't heard of a limit myself, although I suppose it's probably not possible to be endless/limitless, I would imagine? Though that would stink to have to start trying to figure out which accounts to remove from the blacklist (and risk them joining the guild and causing issues all over again) in order to add a new account to the list if there is a limit.
So, is there one? Wondering for an official ZOS answer or perhaps a GM who has somehow found the limit out the hard way.
