PLEASE extend the "boot" timer after a dungeon group is disbanded.

I've asked this before I think, but I want to ask it again. I just did my first ever trial (the Clockwork one for the endeavour) and everyone just left... So I want to talk to the NPC at the end to find out what was going on here but NOPE, get out, you're done, no more fun allowed for you!

This seems so ridiculous and unnecessary to me. I understand perhaps for bandwidth/server resources or whatever they need to close unused instances, but come on! Give me at least twenty minute or something to roam around and explore. This mechanic is so stressful and just destroys my fun. Why does it have to kick me out NOW, RIGHT NOW, OMG WHAT ARE YOU STILL DOING HERE GET OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just give me a break.

(I know it was a pug and I should try to find like minded players, a guild, what have you... but I normally don't EVER do group content and just play solo all the time. The VERY rare times I join groups like this I just always feel rushed and don't have any fun. Please just let me play the game I'm paying for at my own pace.)

    I agree. I would love to get lorebooks and open any chests that were missed during the run.

    I find that the current time limit is fine even with a quest with a ton of NPC yammering at the end like Banished Cells.

    If it were fine then I would have been able to finish all the dialogue. I wasn't. I had only one NPC to talk to, who had 3 different options, which each had a few branching extensions. I got booted mid sentence.

    ...and that is not even considering that I might have wanted to run around and explore a bit, just take in the atmosphere, maybe grab a few screenshots of the place.

    It's completely absurd.

    First of all, random dungeon group should have no ability to disband. I have seen people intentionally disband the group at last boss just to be a *** and it is not just once or twice, many times. That is why random groups matched through dungeon finder should not have the ability to disband.

    You took the words right out of my mouth. On Monday that happened to a group I was in, last boss, disband the group just to be a so and so. We seem to be getting more of these types of characters all the time.

    They don’t even have to disband. As soon as 3 players leave and you are the only one in the instance, it starts the countdown.

    I've never understood why we have to get kicked at all. I like to look around and find any chests we missed and do optional bosses we may have passed by. Why aren't we allowed to stay as long as we want?

    I'm guessing as a way to help limit the number of instances up at any one time?

    I didn't get a chance to turn in a quest at the end of one the other day. The NCPs droned on and on and ON and I got booted before they finished so I could turn in the quest. Come on! Yeah extend that timer significantly. Would have liked to go back for some lore books too.

    Yes. An easy "quality of life" improvement that would only take 2 or 3 lines of coding. And cost nothing.

    I usually just leave the instance and stay in the group so whoever needs to finish stuff in the dungeon can do so while I vendor/decon/bank.

    It costs server resources while the extra instance is spin up.

    That said, they could probably increase it to 5 minutes without too much issue.

    The dialogue can't be skipped there. You have to listen until they finish imprisoning the High Kinlord.
