No new craftable healer sets?

I play many different roles. I just realized I couldn’t think of any new CRAFTABLE healer sets. It would be nice to have some more that are craftable and still useful. There are only a few.

I didn't realize this either till now, even though I'm currently griding my third healer character. I don't know why it never dawned on me before. We do need some more.

I think the most reason one was Galen. Crafters haven't really used that many crafted sets because there are very few sets they use based on giving unique group buffs.

We've also only gotten 3 new crafted sets per year the past two years, so we would have 6 more crafted sets by now if we'd been getting Q4 DLC zones.

That said, some players did also request a lower number of new sets. I think there are some older, unused craftable sets that could be buffed for healers.

Gourmands is great but not a craftable set. Def useful.

I've always wanted that Redistributor crafted set from Clockwork City to be good but it's so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, SO BAD.

Saving that set would require completely new 2-4 piece bonuses (IMO, give it like 3x +4% Healing Done mods) and then the 5-piece would need both to be buffed in magnitude as well as allowed to hit the generic player cap for heals, 6 players. Toss on applying one of the uncommon Minor buffs, like Minor Vitality or Mending, and you'd have a fairly neat little set.

Redistributor (Worth Using Version)

(2 items) Adds 4% Healing Done
(3 items) Adds 4% Healing Done
(4 items) Adds 4% Healing Done
(5 items) When you overheal yourself, you heal 6 group members within 15 meters of you for 1000 Health and apply Minor Mending for 5 seconds. This effect can occur once every 1 second and scales off the higher of your Max Magicka or Stamina.

Order's wrath increases crit chance and healing, improving your healing done (though a healer should prioritize support sets like spell power cure, powerfull assault, transmutation in pvp...)
Heartland conqueror doubles your weapon traits so, if you use a powered resto staff, you get 18% more healing done instead of 9%

Those are edge cases. I think when talking about Healer sets people mean something closer to Eyes of Mara, that gives a clear and definite bonus to Healers specifically.

Yeah, basically any Crit chance or Crit damage set applies to Heals, but then we can say that any and all sustain sets are Healer sets, which just muddies the waters.

It's a valid point, Healer exclusive Craftable sets are few and far between.

That is because what is considered a healing set in eso rarely has much to do with healing bonuses. Basic healing outputs are strong enough for vast majority of content. And healing itself is so much tied to crits and spell power that it's more useful for a healer to use damage buffing sets (like Spell power cure or Powerfull assault) that buff the group AND the healer than invest in set that buff only healing.

I consider the following "Pure" healing sets:

Eyes of Mara
Redistributor
Naga Shaman

If you include Res in the Healer's job description you can add:

Vastarie's Tutelage
Kagrenac's Hope

And some Healer adjacent sets are:

Coldharbour's Favorite
Chimera's Rebuke

Of course, you can get creative and include things that buff crit damage and crit chance, but those aren't just Healer sets.

I said new. Been a while since there were NEW and CRAFTABLE. It’s just something I noticed. Not saying it’s good or bad.
