    I understand this is a joke but the number of people I've seen ACTUALLY making this exact argument seriously baffles me!

    Does anyone know what type of restrictions visitors have with this new feature?

    Because I don't mind visitors using my outfitting/dye station, crafting stations, mundus stones, combat dummies, vampire amenities, etc. But I would mind if they could move stuff around, or turn the lights on/off. Any word on the restrictions visitors have?

    I just wish I could set my lights on "stuck" mode or something, so visitors couldn't change them while still being able to use all the amenities inside the house. Lighting a property well is important, and can influence how visitors value your house.

    I haven’t played with this for a while but there used to be a permission that would let people visit without being able to use intractable objects (ie no turning off your lights). It was essentially an editor v viewer permission although those weren’t necessarily the title names.
    I don't always drink Skooma, but when I do I go to the Southwall Corner Club. May you walk on warm sands my friends.

    This is an issue for me and I'm sure for others too "limited visitor" would be my go to setting BUT in several of my builds the doors I have added are important and it would spoil the intention of the story to leave them open, however as others have mentioned I don't want my lighting messed with!!

    That would be nice, as one of the guild houses I often use for crafting my master writs just happens to have stuff that can be turned off and on within clicking range of the crafting tables. And since some of it seems to be partially buried items with lighting, I'm never sure if it's supposed to be off or on. And no, I'm not going to tell somebody I don't normally interact with "Hey, why don't you move this and that," as I have no business telling anybody what they should or shouldn't be doing with their build.

    Let me give an example (for any devs that may be reading) of how this problem manifests itself.

    In one of my builds, I have four Moons-Blessed Ceremonial Pools cobbled together as part of a statue base. Now, when four of those items are close together, it puts off a mildly blinding amount of light, which is not the look I am going for in this instance. So what I did was turn these off (they are interactable), and then placed four more that were turned on in the exact same location, but sunk them into the ground under the first four, so the effect was still visible... but more muted. Voilà! There's the look I am after.

    The problem now is that when someone hovers their mouse over the visible pools, they get the prompt to turn them on. And sometimes, if they're like me and don't want to be thought of as "that guy" that trolls people by turning their stuff off, might just turn everything back on before they leave, just in case. And I've gone back to that house and found those pools turned on by well-meaning folks, and it's dismaying because, well, how many other people visited before I got there and though, "Oh wow, this is pretty cool but what was he thinking..... it's so bright... as now there are not four, but eight moon pools putting out an ungodly amount of glow in one place.

    Ideally, there should be a setting for each individual item. "Visitor interactable? Y/N." Then people can chat with your Augur of the Obscure, without being able to, or being unable to avoid turning off the light you placed under it for that perfect look.

    The patch notes for the PTS update that landed yesterday says that Grandmaster Crafting Tables will be usable even with Limited Visitor set.
