Beautiful house, but... MEDIUM item limit.

Any home with a decent outdoor area should immediately be 700 slots.

When players ask for medium sized houses, they want something cozy and small that is gold purchased. Things like a small woodsy cottage, a 2-story small building that is inside a city that can be made into a tavern or tailoring shop, etc.

A mountain-top Altmer home with outdoor space for structural/construction enthusiasts to build... being a medium sized home is heartbreaking.

I see this home, and it is a travesty I can't use it to build anything I can imagine because it's not 700 slots.

Why frustrate us further with releasing a home that is builder-friendly and then deny us the appropriate item slots?

    My proposed solution:

Let players purchase this home as a medium-sized home for gold.
Or a 700 slot home for crowns.

Start selling us OPTIONS for every home. Even allowing players to purchase multiples of the same home. Sometimes we have ideas for a home that we have already built on.

I would stress out and never buy it if I could never buy additional slots, unless I could buy it for gold and then buy more slots with crowns later... hmm...

Maybe we have to buy the home with gold and then unlock being able to use it at 700 slots in the crown store.

Additionally, allow us to buy several instances of the same home.
Homes are already instanced. I have some homes decorated and now that I know more about housing... I have better ideas for them. But I still don't want to destroy what I built before.

A player might want to decorate the existing building in Antiquarian, but maybe for their next Antiquarian they want the pre-existing building gone.

This would also let them sell the same house to a player multiple times. $$$$$$$$$$$$

I think the Seabloom Villa is really pretty, but the medium item limit makes me not so enthusiastic. If it had a higher item limit, I would've been really enthusiastic. Hopefully it ends up being a cheap gold house, it it's crown only then I can't see myself ever getting it.

Thank you for posting a quick preview video!

Haven of the Five Companions appears to be a fragment house--presumable from Q4 events?

Seabloom Villa has a book at the entrance from Felande Demarie introducing you to the housing system (ie where to get furnishings, etc). So it sounds like it could be some type of free or introductory or earnable house--maybe with Summerset spotlight? It's worth noting that the Vvardenfell Spotlight goes through August 15, and August 17 is when U42 drops, and Summerset would be the next Chapter in release order (since Clockwork City is included in the Vvardenfell spotlight).

yes, they didnt say yet what kind of event but "Haven of the Five Companions(...)home will be earned by collecting fragments from several events,"

Never being able to buy the additional slots would be awful.

Any house with an outdoor space should be able to opt in to purchasing 700 item slots for PC players.

I'd pay to have Antiquarian and Forgemaster Falls at 700 slots.

I just hope that those of us who don't use the PTS will be able to preview that home, before deciding if it's worth spending a bunch of event tickets on.

I’m already planning on getting it. I love that they are giving away free houses but I lag so far behind on decorating them. By the time we get it maybe I’ll have something done with Sword Singer’s.

Houses (and all other assets) are only added during Updates. So this will be previewable when Update 43 launches, which I believe is wellll before the first fragments should even start dropping. (I want to say the fragments have always been previewable, even if only partially like for the personalities, but I'm not 100% sure.)

Might as well — at worst it can be used for storage. Nothing else so far worth spending tickets on unless you missed past event stuff (working on completing my indrik collection) or want guild commendations, etc. Soooo not into all the Molag Bal stuff this year and the ridiculous personality. :/

Same here. I stopped doing event quests about halfway through the last event, because I had 3 indriks I was happy with and I needed no more, and nothing else from the 2 event vendors interested me.

So update 43 doesn't have any new bosmer/dawnwood furniture? Not a single one?!

Some of the Colovian structures are nice, I like we finally get a simple window with a wooden frame that is not see through, but they are also lacking. Many are so similar to High Isle and Leyawiin and missing narrow stairs and roofs.

Love Seabloom. Won't buy it with that slot limit. It's the perfect place to do everything outdoors, including adding plants and structures. And once you start adding plants and structures, those slots fly fast.

Yes, it's disappointing. My first (and so far, only) foray into house customisation was The Gorinir Estate earlier this year, and I wasn't happy about the lack of bosmer furnishings in general, compared to various other races.
