Weapon Swapping and skill leveling

My question is this. Once at 15 you unlock your second weapon. Now if I put on the first skill line a certain set of skills (say heals) then on the second set (dps). WIll I gain experience for all 10 skills and the 2 ultimates.....or will I only gain skills for the active set?

Only for the active set and the active weapon (if you want to level the weapon skills as well).

Only the active sets. Although you can put any skill on your bar, even if you don't have the appropriate weapon, and it will gain experience. This way you can technically level 3 class lines, 4 weapon lines, and all armour lines at the same time, but you've probably best off only having one dud skill on your bar at any time.
Edit: remember that the more skills from a line you have on your bar, the faster it levels.

OK so say I have a Resto Staff equiped and using dark magic skills with a mage guild and fighters guild skill.....will the resto staff skills that are "not" on the bar still level since I have the staff equiped?

No. Only skills that are on your main bar level. Remember that they level as you gain experience, so you can swap bars before you hand in quests to level the skills on that bar.

So I am only gaining experience on bar one. This is the case even if I am using bar two the whole time. Doesn't that sound a bit off?
