Any reason why scripts are not stackable?

There are plenty of farmable scripts I might not strictly need on my character right now.
I put them in the bank so I can grab one when I need.
Why they aren't stackable? There are plenty of different ones and they would take a whole lot of space as it is.

I've run into a few duplicates myself, and wondered the same. It's not an issue right now, but once I've curated all the scripts on a toon, will the dailies still drop scripts? Or will it just stop for that character? I hope so, otherise there'll be a lot of destroying of scripts once they've all learned every script.

They'll still drop, but which one drops will be random. I believe they can be sold to npc vendors which makes getting rid of unwanted ones pretty easy.

This, the script grind really isn't that bad for alts if you just wait for the rotation. I will probably start deleting some of the duplicates I have.

it does not stop on a character that has all the scripts

like dungeon gear, instead of getting a curated one, you just get a random one from the pool

right now i just throw the extra scripts into my bank and pull them out on other characters, but once all my characters have learned a particular script ill just start vendoring them
