Cannot log in today

I have commented on a couple other posts, but feel I need to start my own, as communication has dropped off.

I am unable to log into the game today. I first tried at 7:30am my time. I have followed the advice given in the launcher and repaired my game files. I tried that three times, restarting the PC between attempts. I saw a comment about addons so have tried deleting my addons, then repairing the game installation and no luck. I have uninstalled the game and reinstalled - no luck.

It is now 4pm my time and I have wasted a lot of my day on this issue. I want to do my crafting, do some event stuff for tickets and coffers, and participate in my trial group this evening.

@ZOS_Kevin @ZOS_JessicaFolsom - since you two were trying to help people earlier.
This is what I see, regardless of what I do...

I can't even get the launcher to open after the update, tried a ton of fixes ranging from changing my anti-virus & firewall permissions regarding ESO to disabling it entirely. No fixes currently posted online work, just constantly getting a "Time out while waiting for window to load." when trying to run the launcher.

That is even worse than mine. At least I can partially read the News...

Hope (for everyone affected) they get this resolved quickly.

@AlwaysDancing - are you able to run the eso64.exe directly (if so, be sure you are using run as administrator) instead of using steam or the launcher?

Related, though not quite as severe - I get the crash message after logging out of the game. Have never loaded PTS, went thru steps from other posts with no change.
(Win11, NOT Steam, PC/NA)

I've been unable to login for a few days too, but my problem seems similar but different to every else's.

A few days ago the launcher gave some messages about needing an update, or repair, or something, I don't remember exactly. After that finished, it just does this same thing over and over - The launcher window opens with this message:

Then it quits.

I did figure out that I can run the game from the eso64.exe though. I just have to login instead of letting Steam login for me.

What do I do if my ESO Launcher won't start or gets stuck at “looking for launcher updates"?
