Unused equipment bound to armory slot needs to be stacked or stowed away

The armory system is awesome and I applaud the devs to have introduced this system.

As of now to make use of it one has to carry around all equipment of the used armory sets one wants to use for really benefitting from one of its two main functions (facilitating change of equipment, the other being: switching attribute, skillpoints etc). The result is that it heavily litters one's inventory reducing storage space. I for instance have a toon that I use for harder world content (world bosses, the Archive, world events, ...) but also as a thieve and a dungeon tank. These three builds use all different gear so I have 13 to 14 pieces multiplied by 3 that occupie 26 to 28 inventory slots. And I don't count here the additional items that on occasion I slot into my build to accommodate for varying situations. Due to that clogging of my inventory I have put my thieves equipment into my bank but alas I have to run to the bank to withdraw it there before I can use the armory slot.

I therefore would highly appreciate to be able to story the unused equipment bound to an armory slot within the armory. Since all armory slots beyond 2 is bought by crowns I think it is acceptable that in this way storage space is slightly increased for players using more than 2.

I have to say this is putting limits on some of my characters as well.
PC EU: Magblade (PvP main), DK (PvE Tank), Sorc (PvP and PvE), Magden (PvE Healer), Magplar (PvP and PvE DD), Arcanist (PvE DD)
PC NA: Magblade (PvP and PvE every role)

It would be a nice addition if the armory would behave as an actual armory and store the gear.

IMO inventory management as a mechanic is another vestige of ancient MMO times.

Only if it were optional — I have several sets used in builds by several characters. When and if I have the transmute stones, I’ll make additional copies of what I use most to avoid swapping it around, but in the meantime, yes, I want it saved as part of the build because then when I swap to it, I am alerted if I am missing something and can check what I’m missing and find it.

Agreed. I'd actually buy more armory slots for my other side characters if they implement this feature.

A nice idea. I too would think about buying a few slots for some of my chars, if such a function would be implemented.

One possible problem I do see with realizing this idea could be the extra load for the servers :cold_sweat: . This could be a reason why the devs won't be doing it.

I agree with this thread, the Armory should store the gear for the builds in it. I personally would be happy to pay crowns for this convenience. I think Bethesda you missed out on a great opportunity to make more money here!
Please implement a storage option to the Armory, you can charge say 5'000 crows for it.
I personally feel it is a reasonable charge. Or even 1200 per slot for storage of the builds and gear.
