Luminous Ink?

Is there a way to farm this? Does it drop from all resource nodes and enemies across the game?

I haven't had a drop from runestones or enemies.

I got a double drop from a wasp nest in Craglorn. Two ink and a carapace.

I've had from all harvesting nodes except enchanting, mobs seems a lower drop rate

Once you unlock the prerequsites:


They will drop from the stated sources, albeit at a lower than desired rate for some to many players.

I haven't seen it drop from the following yet:

Pure Water nodes (I did get some from a water skin, just not the one in the water yet, so these may drop)
Insects (torchbugs, butterflies, etc.)
Small creatures (rats, centipedes, etc.)
Sacks
Barrels
Crates
Backpacks
Thieving (I hear this does happen, I just haven't seen it myself yet)
Heavy Sacks
Surveys
Bosses (though they did patch this in, it's still a rare drop like everything else)
Wasp Nests
Dwarven Pipes

I've gotten them from:

Standard enemies
Runestones
Water Skins
Ore Nodes
Clothing Nodes
Wood Nodes
Jewelry Nodes
Plant Nodes (including water hyacinth and nirnroot)
Fungus Nodes
Urns
Dwemer Pots

Backpacks drop them. I've looted more than a few from backpacks. I've even pulled 2 out of one backpack.
