I really hope not, because that would exclude a lot of players from seeing it (those who don't like forming random groups and prefer to play solo). I hope if we ever do see the Shivering Isles, it's a zone like Apocrypha.prof-dracko wrote: »If we get the Isles in any way I imagine it being a paired dungeon DLC. I have no investment in PVP but this actually seems like a good idea. Maybe take Volendrung out of Cyro and put it here with the other relics we were promised and make it a chaotic free-for-all.WhiteCoatSyndrome wrote: »I still want the Shivering Isles to be a PvP zone. That could be really interesting and a good way to get people into PvP if this mode also has set builds to choose from, like different types of Daedra. Would really put everyone on the same field with only player skill mattering— assuming ZOS can balance the “classes” against each other.

I like this idea. I'm envisioning a Left 4 Dead style Zombie v Zombie thing where each side gets X amount of Daedroth, Clannfears, Healer Dremora, Spinners, etc. And just like L4D, you don't get to choose which one you get every respawn, keeping it random and fresh, and making sure that everyone is kept on their toes.

All I recall from Elsweyr wasgiving him cream, rolling a yarn ball out the door, and him calling grilled cheese "looney", but I remember his switch-ups in Skyrim and Oblivion that made him so scary. So, if he did do anything sinister, it didn't hit right for me to remember or perhaps I was distracted by the "haha random x3" part of the quest.

He engineered the slaughter of Southpoint and drove everyone in that Elsweyr monastery insane, some to the point of self-mutilation. For fun. The fact that he himself is so goofy and unassuming is part of the threat. You aren't meant to take him seriously until he has you convinced you're full of birds that need to be let out with a knife.
