Should West Weald daily quests count towards the Gold Road Grand Adventurer achievement?

I am a bit confused about this one.

I wanted to complete this achievement on my alt accounts to save myself some coin buying the new house during Zenithar.

I was operating under the impression that the daily quests counted towards the Grand Adventurer achievement the first time that were completed.

I have done each daily at least three times so that should be (if they count) 13 or 14 (6 WB, 6 Delve and 1 or 2 WE depending on whether each variation of the WE quest counts or it only counts as 1) but my counter is on 14/28.

Apart from dailies I have completed both PD quests (2), all delve quests (6), the trapper 'questline' (4) and Belienne's quest (1) so that doesn't make 14 either but 13 so I'm really confused here.

Furthermore on another alt account I have done the same quests as on this one but the counter is on 21.

Sadly I didn't track the behaviour on my main account and I have already completed the achievement on that one (along with the zone etc.).

Hoping that at least there are enough quests in the zone to hit 28 without the dailies; I remember what happened to that poor fellow that had a bugged achievement and asked CS for help, and I don't want to be them.

Dailies have never counted for any other zone AFAIK. Sorry. You'll have to do a lot of story quests.

I want to remember that they did at least from Summerset onwards.

Regardless something peculiar is going on because my other alt is on 21 instead of 14 and I haven't really done any zone story quests or much in terms of side-quests on her either (there are only so many hours in the day after all).

My alt account which I only do incursions and world boss dailies on in West Weald is at 0/28, so they're definitely not counting there.

Also, that account has completed the Scribing Questline and it's still 0/28 in case someone was thinking of that.

OK, I answered my own question.

West Weald dailies, as most zone dailies before, do count towards the Grand Adventurer achievement the first time they are completed and the 'main' character in this account has encountered a bug.

I did a round of dailies on one of the mule characters on this account, counter went from 14 to 16.

Hoping it will be consistent for this character and the counter will keep going up currently there are many people in the zone so doing the incursion and WB dailies with a lvl 8 character with no skill points is achievable

you can do the non repeatable quest that you get near the daily job brokers on multiple characters, it's for the npc left of the job brokers in Skingrad.
i believe it's on a board at the gate near the job brokers with something like "Skingrad/the West Weald is calling adventurers"

i did that on all my 20 characters to get the house faster.

edited to add:
if you are doing a delve daily it's easy to also do the delve's quest.
you might have done that as that does count towards the adventurer achievements
