Apparently completing a daily Crafting Writ in Skingrad gives no Zeal of Zenithar bonus?

What ZoZ bonus are you referring to? Other than the 1XdayXaccount event box what is there?

Yep the event box, I had none after completing my first daily Crafting Writ, and tested in Vivec City with a2nd character: Same result.

Just tried it out, and I got a purple box when handing in the first crafting daily in Skingrad so it seems to be working.
I did complete both event quests in Craglorn beforehand if that matters.

I get the purple boxes when I do Master writs, world events grouped with a guildie, bosses grouped with a guildie but not when doing a first daily writ... Is it because master writs count as a 1st daily writ?

Are you sure your account's first daily writ wasn't already done?

I logged in this morning and did my first writ of the day in Skingrad, and got the box.

yesterday i did an enchanting daily writ in skingrad after i turned in the west weald dailies and got a box from that

master writs and daily writs should be on a separate cooldown (daily writ is 1 box per day per acct, master writ is 1 box per type per day per acct)

By the way, am I remembering wrong? I thought the first time they did this event we got a purple box for every crafting daily we did on every character. Then, I remember them deciding that was too many purple boxes so the second year I thought we got one purple box for each type of crafting daily we did just once per account for a total of seven boxes no matter how many characters we have. Now, this year we just get one purple box per day for the first crafting daily we do of any type for a total of one per account. Am I wrong about the middle part?

This is an interesting question.

The official announcements from both 2022 and 2023 read the same as this year: "First daily Crafting Writ, per account, completed each day"

Several comments from feedback on the PTS for the initial incarnation (2022) refer to "the single guaranteed" box from a daily crafting writ:

So I'm unsure why ZOS claimed this was altered for 2023 in those PTS notes when it doesn't appear to have been changed at all across these iterations.
