Excessive Bound Scripts, what do?

Yesterday I got a poison script from daily coffers, which was once sold by the merchant in scholarium, so naturally all my characters know it. This makes me wondering, what do you do with these excessive bound scripts? And a few suggestion or modification of the script dropping system

• Can't it be made dropping in a curated way in respect with the total knowledge of all your characters?
• Can't it be made unbound once you have learnt it on all characters so that you can give to or trade with the others?
• Can't the destruction check be removed?
• Can't it simply stops giving more scripts once you have all of them learnt on all character?

Can you put those in the bank for another character?

As for OP, I wrote about this the other day. They should just account wide them and not drop again once learned.

It is going to become mandatory to use addons to auto-junk them just to keep our inventories tidy. At least if they were account wide, it would be respectful to our inventory. For those that complain about account wide things, just complete all the door quests and pretend it unlocked there.

I asked the same question yesterday in the ingame zone chat and was told the two things you can do with the *bound* ones are:

1. Bank them for your twink chars, if you are still missing them.
2. If you already have all, destroy them.

Apparently I was presuming that you have learnt a specific script on every single of your chars. I'm definitely not going to create more characters just to consume those.
We are then left with the only option of destroying them, which has the can't-be-more-annoying destruction check.

Since when was ZOS respectful to our inventory? So many items still don't stack - or if they do the stack size is arbitrarily low.

Oh, and identical scripts don't stack either, which is just mindboggling tbh.

Seems they havent think it through, same as those IA fragments that still drop after you collect all of them.

Imagine, couple of months from now, when you have all the scripts learned on all your alts, every daily quest you complete will still thrash your inventory with those scripts.

Would be nice if they made them sellable to vendours or reconstructable for ink.

That’s a good idea! Once you’ve learned all available scripts to drop on a character, you should receive luminous ink instead.

I took a glance at the PTS patch notes and saw this juicy tidbit:

Scripts acquired from Daily Quest Coffers and world drops will no longer have variable levels or sell values. They will always be level 1 and always sell to vendors for 999 gold.

That's a solid 9k(rounded up) per day of guaranteed gold for people who have the scripts done. Also, they stack too.

I don't want to date myself, but when the game launched, mats stacked to 100, runes stacked to 20 and there was no craft bag, so things have definitely improved.

That said keeping track of which character has learned which scripts is going to be very annoying, isn't it?

They should at least stack.

Also I think the vendor price is going up too.

I got 50 bank slots on PTS just from all my scripts stacking! There is hope, just wait 6ish weeks.

I'm banking mine for alts. I ran an alt through the initial scribing quest last night just so I could clear some out of the bank. If alts don't need them, destroy. I'm glad to hear they'll stack next update.

Unless I misunderstood, you can vendor them to NPC merchants in the coming update for 999 gold....
