issue with scribing being so grindy

why is getting scripts and affix's and what have you so grindy? it's one thing to have to grind for a character's crafting knowledge as it's enough for a player to have 1 dedicated crafter for gear, but with scribing it's so grindy and takes so long to gather the needed part and mats to even barley be able to start experimenting and finding out what will compliment what build for each character, it should not be this over the top grindy, scribing skills should be way more accessible to allow player experimentation and build diversity instead of a grind fest to the point it will take me over a month or 2 to teach any single character whatever they need for specific builds for pvp or trials.

this is such a bad step towards mundane brainrot grinding, i was hoping for a fun system that will give my less used classes skills to compliment builds into a more fun and diverse playstyle, instead i need to farm daily quests for who know how long to even start moving on to my "none essential" characters as it's best to prioritize healers and tanks first, especially since the scripts are player bound, why not make it more user friendly and have all the scripts i unlocked ready for purchase from the script trader for other characters to have an easier access to what i want on them?

this feels like a job, not a game, i don't need my game to become another grindy job, getting trial sets is grindy enough, we don't need any more over the top grind systems.

please zos, if anyone will read this, i beg you to adjust this system to be way more player friendly, i want to enjoy playing eso, not feel like i have to plan out a multi year plan just to be able to have more options.

I'd like it so that once they're unlocked, you can buy them for other chars more easily.

I like how you get up to 9 guaranteed script drops. But if I want to work on a build, I don't want to have to spend days farming scripts. It'd be nice if it was more like reconstruction.

Maybe when you unlock Scribing on a new char, they could get a coffer with a random few of each type of script (other than the Mages Guild ones) for completing the quest? That would be convenient and cut down on the dailies.

I second the script grind being fairly monotonous. I have done all of the dailies (except for IC) every day since the chapter came out, and I have two characters done with 12 more to go. I know everyone is complaining about the scarcity of ink right now, but I am much more hindered by how long it takes the characters to get the scripts that they need to make the skills I want. I have 46 ink and no skills to make until I get more scripts for my third character.

This is where I went self-curation and identified the scripts I'd be most likely to use on multiple characters and exclusively farmed those first. There are many scripts I probably won't touch, but to help my Necros and Magplars I farmed up Brutality/Sorc first and for me tanks I went Pull, cause pull is superior to taunt on Shield Throw (IMO) and I don't need taunt on Smash or Vault personally.

I am doing that as well, and so far I have managed to get Pull for 2 of my 7 tanks. I still feel there needs to be a better way for alts to get scripts.
