This is what happens when players complain that bosses are defeated too fast.

No, that is what happens when zos hear what they want to hear instead of what we're saying.

There's a reason why Lair of Maarselok is the least favourite dungeon for so many players ;)

No, no, I think she's on to something here. Every time there's a desirable collectible or an event that requires farming bosses, people complain that the bosses get evaporated before they have a chance to participate. This is a messy solution but it does get the job done.

By the way, I hate it. I was doing incursions last night and there were moments of overlapping invulnerability phases, where all the trash ads had been zapped, and there was nothing to actually do. Riveting. 😐

First, the immunity phase option became a bit overused recently.

Definitely. It is like a dog with a new toy only wants to play with that toy.
Second, the immunity phase won't bother people so much if they have something interesting to do while it happens. More interesting than mindlessly mowing bunch of add waves.

Ok, I will give you that, but part of my point is that while the boss is immune, it should also not be attacking. I consider that to be cheating. Fighting the Hand of God.

if an invulnerable enemy should not be able to attack

the only thing i see about that statement is we should be able to kill guards then lol

because they are literally invulnerable all the time and can still attack lol

Delves, incursions, overland, raid...In this chapter, it seems like bosses in every type of content have an immunity phase. It is so annoying. New players will just struggle more during the phase and veterans will see it as a waste of time. It serves literally no other purpose than making the fight longer when it shouldn't be if the group is good enough.

I agree, but then put stronger adds, also stronger and more resistant bosses, even with more health, and also more deadly damage on players. More difficult fights.

Otherwise fights and overland events would last a few seconds seconds.

Imagine the Incursion starts, boss appears and disappears (dies) almost instantly. Incursion done.
That'd wouldn't be good. You wouldn't be able to consider or call that a group or world event.

Also, trial bosses CAN'T BE only burn the boss. Bosses should be immune (as they are now) while the whole group or some players do mechanics, otherwise, several groups would destroy hard mode bosses in a minute (in regular vet bosses with no immune phases groups do that already) if it's just standing there doing damage with no immune (or any no damage to boss) phases.

So if immune phases are removed, then bosses, adds and fights in general should be adjusted to balance things out.

And there is that one shard collosus boss that also heals itself.

That boss mechanic is okay in my book. It’s no different than a dps check.

This is one of the worst parts of Gold Road. Immunity is literally everywhere, and the quest becomes fragmented and dull
