Script Scraps only from Harder Content?

Except for doing Master Writs, most of the activities are pretty higher end (or painful like IA). Random dungeons are not great because some are very rough with pickup groups.

Blech.

Actually, besides inks not dropping from kills the whole scribing related farming feels pretty balanced.

You have multiple sources of pretty much everything. For scraps you have crafting option, solo option and group option.

And normal group content is not very high end activity. Unless one believes that any grouping equals high end.

Random normal gives one scrap, you can't go easier than that. That means roughly a month to get all 50 (1 rnd + one master writ) but its the option. Want to go faster, do random veteran with friends or vet craglorn trials.

Randoms are also per character, can do multiples of normal randoms a day.

If this is content you really don't gel with is not going to be very helpful but on my alts what I have been doing is joining normal, easy and quick trials from the finder once per day.

Mostly nHOF, nCR, nAS, nAA, nHRC and nSO depending on what is 'going' in the finder.

You get scrap from the trial itself and from the weekly coffer (I'm still not 100% sure how the scrap reward from the weekly coffer works so I try to make sure that no character does the same trial twice until the reset) and I haven't had any negative experiences so far.

Random vet dungeon can actually take longer if you are unlucky and land in LoM, CoA2 or one of the many dungeons that go on forever.

Again, if someone really doesn't like trials in any shape or form this 'advice' is going to be pretty useless but otherwise I found joining a trial from the finder a better source of scrap than random vets.

This ^ I did a couple of nCRs from the finder the other day on alts for coffers, and they took less than 10 minutes each.
