Performance (PvP) with a MacBook Pro M3 Max

Posting in General as this applies to everyone - with PvP probably being the most highly demanding part of the game in prime time with 100+ people fighting in the same area.

With everything maxed out in video settings and FPS locked to a max of 60, performance is about equivalent to what I've seen on a recent (ish) desktop with a 3080 in 4K60.

Temps in big fights max out at about 75 C on performance cores, and 70 C on GPU cores.

FPS didn't drop below 60 that I noticed in about an hour of prime time play.

This is a WAY overpriced solution for mobile gaming, but if you have one and/or are getting one for other (more valid) reasons as in my case, ESO plays beautifully.

EDIT: Compared to an ASUS ROG Flow (2023) that has a mobile 4050, it's performs noticeably smother with all video settings maxed.

Mac M3 is emulating x86. I'm amazed it works as well as it does.
M series is not supported by ESO or most games.
Apple decided pc and console gaming was not important for them. Both PS5 and Xbox uses AMD x86 systems for an reason.
I assume Apple found mobile gaming much more profitable 😺
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

@zaria new Microsoft laptops are also ARM. It is faster than x86, so expect x86 to become a legacy architecture in ~2-5 years.
Whether ZOS will be able to make their legacy game ARM-compatible is yet to be seen.
Other top engines definitely work in that direction - Unreal Engine supports Nanite at MacOS.
