Is something broken with my illuminous ink drop?

I have been farming nodes and killing mobs for hours now, last night I went 2-3 hours straight before calling it a night without a single ink drop.

I have plentiful harvest CP on. and I am at 49/50 on the achievement. today I've been farming nodes while questing and killing mobs and its starting to feel like something is wrong.

Yesterday was the first time that I did not got any ink from farming nodes and I was wondering the same.

I did get an ink from harvesting a node last night. Isn’t it supposed to be a rare drop from those sources?

Yes it is a rare drop, but so rare that 4 hours of farming results in 0? that's not right
